Kindgom Turn 2 (Continued):Year 1 AprilEvent(s): - During exploration, we discovered a rope bridge that could only support 1 medium person at a time through our superb knowledge of engineering. Placed warning sign and marked out the location for future upgrade of the bridge. - Had an encounter with Elks while we were camping in the former bandit camp hex square area. Thankfully our Druid, Erd, managed to calm them down to avoid unnecessary bloodshed. - Met a (generic) male human hunter by the name of Holan Bene, he was kind enough to share his camping spot with us and we informed him that he'll be welcomed to visit Guildor one day. - Went to pay a visit to the Fairy Court area to exlpore the last hex area. Mischievious fairies harassed us but nothing seriously harmful happened. A certain Fairy Dragon's mother wanted us to pass some things back to her son in the kingdom... wonder what stuff could it be... but we decided not to poke into the matter. - We have a new Guild member who joined us to help in kingdom building. A small cute catfolk like creature from the Izzet League by the name of Iiolite Moondrop (played by Bryan). Kingdom Turn 3:Year 1 MayUpkeep phase: - Lost our Spymaster Gween and Warden Mario (who somehow magically became a park and a brothel dance hall respectively)! MAY DAY! MAY DAY! - Thankfully the kingdom did not break down despite the leadership vacuum. Edict phase: - Reassigned necessary Leadership Positions New Dipolmat: Leena (NPC) New Warden: Lucillia Lynch (Paula's PC) New Spymaster: Iiolite Moonstone (Bryan's PC) - Claimed a new hex and build a farm and road on it. (We're now the size of Singapore. Yay!) - Declared a holiday for this month. National Day of Guildor. Income phase: - Average Income. Event: - Vandals attacked and tried to destroy the Park of Gween! Fortunately, Baroness Seren managed to calm the citizens of Guildor down and new Warden Lucillia asserted control to stop and capture the thugs before things got out of control! Their puishment for destroying works of art was to do corrective work order or be executed. They all choose corrective work. - Perhaps the Goddess Shelyn must have been happy that we saved works of beauty and rare flowers were discovered in our Kingdom! The citizens of Guildor took this as a sign of happniess, blessings and fortunes, my thanks for your support Shelyn! - Pathfinders managed to uncover a rare artifact in our Kingdom area and we gained the benefits of more fame! Thanks Pathfinders! Kingdom Turn 4:Year 1 JuneUpkeep phase: - All fine. Edict phase: - Build a Trade shop (with intend to upgrade to Guild Hall eventually as per request by our sponsor). Income phase: - Lots of $! Event: - Pathfinders once again found another rare artifact in our Kingdom region! More fame for us! Love you Pathfinders! - My Inner Council agreed with the community to build a shrine to Erastil next month. Kingdom Turn 5:Year 1 JulyUpkeep phase: - All fine. Edict phase: - Built a Shrine to Erastil as promised (with intend to upgrade to a Temple one day). - Built another Housing area. Income phase: - Average Income. Event: - Oh no! Squatters have decided to take up space in our kingdom and is going to cause alot of problems if we don't step in to do something! We decided to promise to settle them down by next month. Kingdom Turn 6:Year 1 AugustUpkeep phase: - All ok. Edict phase: - To slove the earlier squatters issue, we built up houses for them to settle in as promised with very affordable pricing or agreement to help our kingdom for a place to stay. - Built up an Inn. Welcome Travelers and Pathfinders! Income phase: - Poor Income this time... must have been trying to settle down the problem in the Kingdom. Event: - An epic good event happened to close off the Game Session for the day (perhaps another blessing from Shelyn)! A very rich merchant by the name of Nathye Clacey, came to our kingdom and was impressed by our hardworks of kingdom making, decided to make a small estate in our kingdom with his OWN money. Our Spymaster, Iiolite managed to make herself look as cute as possible to push/influence Nathye to build the best possible luxury quarters in the form of a Noble Villa (rather than a mere Mansion)! WOW-WHEE! WELL DONE Iiolite!

Called to the Quest for Perfection Part 1Year 1 August (Continued)
As the kingdom of Guildor made steady progress, we were called back to Absalom by Susan with great urgency. Entrusting the Kingdom to be taken care by our Treasurer, Spymaster and General Akiros, 5 of us answered the call as we teleported through the Hao Jin Tapestry via a magical carpet (linked to it). Returning to the Grand Lodge, Susan tasked us with The Quest for Perfection... heading over to Tian Xia and assisting Amara Li with her well established Lantern Lodge in finding The Braid of 100 masters since a previous Pathfinder team sent to find it failed to report back for months and it was urgently needed for the upcoming Ruby Phoenix Tournament. Wasting no time, we were teleported over to Tian Xia's Lantern Lodge as Amara Li warmly welcomed us. Baroness Seren's lack of Golarion's culture and very fresh Pathfinder experience made Amara Li question Seren's origins... but cleric Eric step in to assure Amara that Seren was just jumpy about having to leave her kingdom in a flash and Seren simply stated that she kinda rusty from Pathfinding ever since she had a Kingdom to run for she once gave her people the scares from exploring too long just after the kingdom was started up. Fortunately, Amara Li settled down and took in words as true for there were more pressing matters at hand... She explained in better detail what Susan briefed us before and made arrangements for better passage through the mountains where we need to find The Braid of 100 masters in the Clouded Path Monastry. Apparently her original Pathfinder team whose leader was going by the name of Rickard Murtun (Ricky Martin referance!) had gone missing searching for the Braid and now it falls to us to claim it where they could not. We were given an exclusive Jade Lantern (which we poked fun of that the Lantern Lodge stole it from Green Lantern) that would allow us to instantly teleport back to the Lantern Lodge once we're done. Two Tian Xia guides were also tasked by Amara to guide us through the bottom half of the mountain. Before we set off, we borrowed cold weather outfits, did our quick research on the area, studied monsters we most likely would be facing (Yetis) and were given a letter by Amara Li to seek out along our way to the top, statues of 2 brothers whose philosophy was peace through non-violence (aka Mahatma Gandhi) and restore power and light to it if found in disrepair for it may be a magical ward to keep away evil... When we were ready, off we went. The 2 guides that led us the way were actually a male and female couple who went by the name Siu Ho & Hai Xuan, they were most excited to guide us through while talking in slightly broken common (since none of us could understand tien language) as they believed we had the potential to achieve our goals unlike the last Pathfinder team... Eventually we reached the 1st checkpoint, an abandoned small outpost. Going forward to check for any danger, cleric Eric was ambushed by 2 Snow Leopards! Apparently, we accidently disturbed the territory of 2 snow leopards who were mating and they were very unhappy with the intrusion! Our druid Erd tried to talk and reason with them but could not get any good response as we had no choice but to put down the leopards. After easily cutting them down, we found that their fur could make good money if we skinned them and we did so (with Midnight our female tax collector fighter dwarf happily showing $ signs in her eyes). The 2 guides who were watching the fight from behind were really impressed with our fighting prowess and their believe in our success went through the roof as they sang praises on how strong and mighty we were as we all rested for the day. The next morning, we continued further higher up till the point where the 2 guides had mentioned they would stop leading and await our return. They wished us the best for our quest as we continued our journey upwards and we eventually reached a mountain cliff with a small spring of natural water. We VERY cautiously approached the cliffside expecting to get ambused but nothing happened. Eventually, Erd not wanting to waste time boldly went forth to climb up 1st stating that he's ready to die unlike the rest of us cowards! Midnight went up too, being the 2nd to climb up. Suddenly, a sticky tentacle caught hold off Baroness Seren as she was forcefully lifted off the ground! Being the ever fated damsel in distress, naturally she failed to escape (rolling natural 2s 3 times in a row from trying to do an escape artist! ) as she could only scream for help while trying to inspire everyone to help her all while she was slowly lifted higher and higher (well at least she has a free lift up joked the group)! As the druid and fighter hurried to the top, they spotted that it was 2 Cave Fishers that were attacking the party. The dwarf fighter quickly went forth into the cave the 2 abberations were in to engage as the druid prepared to summon reinforcements since the rest of the available party members were still down the cliff slowly climbling up. A fierce battle erupted as Midnight struck the 1st blow, while Seren was held dangling high up in the air still all tied up and screaming as the hentai monster captor had to stop reeling her up to fight off Midnight! In a rare display of intelligence, a cave fisher used its sticky tentacle to successfully pull and dangle Midnight over the cliff right above Seren, threatening to drop her should it die. Seeing as Midnight would be tough enough to survive a fall from about 40 feet up, Erd and his conjured earth elemental quickly took out the cave fisher dangling Midnight, this action then led to Midnight falling right on Seren and ending up getting entangled together with her! With so much weight on its sticky tentacle, the remaining cave fisher could not find the strength to hold on to 2 people as it tumbled off the cliff! The cave fisher, Midnight and Seren then plunged down screaming as they took a huge bruise upon landing from falling at such height! Fortunately, Midnight and Seren survived as Erd's boar, finished off the cave fisher who was on its last legs. We then cleaned up and salvaged whatever we found in the cave and the Cave Fishers' sticky substance to be used as potential soveriegn glue in the future as we continued up into the mountains. We trekked on, reaching a narrow winding path. Along the way, we found the statues of 2 brothers we were told to look for and found that they were in a state of disrepair. We spent an hour each to clean it up and bless them, as we continued on... but just after a few steps towards a bend, we discovered a crack hole within the mountain and were ambushed by horrifiying ghouls and ghasts! Eric who was in front, took the 1st blows and he was then temporaily paralyzed from the claw scratches! We engaged them and tactically made use of the small opening to cut the horrible undeads had to squeeze through down 1 by 1, desperately trying to protect Eric while waiting for the paralyzing effects to wear off. Our druid suspected more monsters around the corner and went forward to scout... he was right as a ghast hiding around the corner SPARTAed him off the cliff into another ghast awaiting down below for easy prey! Fortunately, reinforcements came in for us in the form of Nakayama Hayato, an ally pathfinder samurai who charged in, BANZAIII!!!, to help us fend off the undead! His help was instrumental as he shrugged off the attacks and we slowly cut down the monsters while our druid fled screaming like a little girl from the ghast chasing him down below. Eventually we took care of the monsters and ensured that our druid was not ghast lunch. Inside the crack area, we discovered the fate of Rickard Murtun and his pathfinder team, dead as we suspected all along...Moving on after saying a short prayer to the fallen and recovering whatever equipment remains, the air started to get thinner and our druid and cleric started to feel short on breath failing their fort save. Nonetheless, we were felt like we were close to our destination and pushed on. In just an hour, we were on the steps of the Clouded Path Monastry and cautiously we approached. Suddenly, we were attacked by baby yetis as they sprang forth from all directions. Another battle erupted as we were too tired for diplomacy and we felt that it would be much easier to cut them down instead. True enough within 3 rounds, the 3 baby yetis were slain. Then the large angry mother yeti appeared and attacked us by throwing large stuff at us! We went forth to engage the big bad yeti but to our annoyance, it did a hit and run on us as everytime we tried to close in and do melee combat... it would withdraw and hide somewhere else, only to reappear elsewhere on the roof to throw more large stuff at us! In one moment during a moment of calm when the yeti withdrew, we explored the inner monastry and was once again ambushed from the top with its 10 feet claw attacks. We were at 1st happy to finally be able to have a chance of a round in melee combat until to our horror... our newly joined ally, Nakayama Hayato was slain from the 2 claws successfully slashed at him and then the raking that came next sealed his death as blood and ice splattered all over the floor! "NNNNOOOOOOO!!!" we all yelled as we swore that the evil Yeti would pay for Nakayama Hayato's death. Then cleric Eric also almost died from 2 claws successfully slashed at him when the Yeti came for him next! The rest of us that remained continued with whatever we had in a desperate attempt to take down the Yeti as we remembered that it was vulnerable to fire and unleashed whatever fire damage we could cause on it. From conjured fire elementals to fire arrows together with smite evil, the hit and run continued as in the end we eventually took it down after a very lengthy battle... It didn't take long to find The Braid of 100 masters after hearing the story from a monk's soul that was imbued in a rock to this place as a lesson for perfection after his failure in a challenge against Irori. Our quest was complete at the price of Nakayama Hayato's life, we carried his body back to the Lantern Lodge to give him a proper burial and prayer, as we were thanked by Amara Li for accomplishing all that we were tasked to do, and especially this important mission of finding the The Braid of 100 masters. And so The Quest for Perfection Part 1 ends...

Felinxes were created as a more intelligent familliar to assist the wizards of the Izzet League, making them dextorus and intelligent in order to help their masters in spell casting, scribbing scrolls and all other small tasks.
The project was successfull as the first Felinx was shown to be even smarter than expected, learning skills and picking up after their mentors quickly, pushing the Izzet League to create more Felinxes.
As their numbers grew over the years, they built their own society within the guild, assisting them and even finding their own ground breaking discovery along sides the wizards of the Izzet League, promoting them to be their own individuals rather than familliars that are owned by the wizards.

BackStory Iiolite is a young Felinx, brought up along side one of the wizards within the Izzet League where she learnt all she could as his apprentice.
In her youth, she was an excellent student, learning everything her mentor taught her and replecating the results almost perfectly. Keeping to her books in her spare time, reviewing their reserch and noteing down ways to make it better.
As she grew older, she took up swordfighting as a form of dance and excercise under orders from her mentor, not only to protect herself in the future, but to keep her senses and reaction sharp and her body agile as working with the more complex devices in the guild requires extremely dextorus fingers and even sharper mind.
When she heard that the guild was sending agents to the unknown world of Golarion, she coulden't give up this one in a life time chance to explore a new world, find new discovories and learn the ways of that strange land. She quickly volunteered herself and asked mer mentor to write a letter of recomendation to the guild.
The guild accepted her because of her intellect, agility and willingness to give everything she has to uncover the secrets of the land of Golarion for them. Giving her an entrance to Golarion and a mission. Being told that she has to don a disguise in Golarion, she opted that she would go disguised as one of their many races of Catfolks as a young Librarian, Scholar or Adviser.

Called to the Quest for Perfection Part 2Year 2 FebruaryOnce again, Amara Li summons us to her Lantern Lodge in Goka, Tian Xia for another important and urgent quest for us. We quickly geared up and set off via teleporting through the Hao Jin Tapestry, leaving care of the kingdom to Akiros and our Royal Enforcer, Midnight. Amara Li warmly greets us and explains that we need to find a woman by the name of Je Tsun who resides in Nesting Swallow, Shukuro and get her to perform a ritual using The Braid of 100 masters. We also were tasked to retrieve incense in Shaguang from the allying Jhemulit tribe where the shaman leader Ogokai would provide it. The only way to get these places efficiently was to travel by boat. Unfortunately, travelling through these places would be dangerous as there has been cases of monsters attacking travellers, lunatical hungry Kijimuna Goblin tribes and savage tribal barbarian raiders. Add to the fact that the travel route is passing through the Kingdom of Lingshen, a power-hungry country that is out to get The Braid of 100 masters at any cost... we might have to fight them head-on if necessary. We were given a good sailing junk boat, named The Laughing Crow, and whatever rations/supplies necessary for our travel. Unfortnately, it was impossible to get anyone else to help us sail the boat as nobody but us Pathfinders were brave enough to travel through such hostile waters and we were the only ones available... it would be up to us to sail the boat ourselves. The first few days of travelling went smoothly as our Wizard, Cleric and Druid steered the boat with little trouble but on the 4th day, we were attacked by savage barbarian horserider raiders who seeked to plunder our boat as we travelled through a valley that had a narrow river passage close to a shoreline. Arrows shots were exchanged from both sides and we focused fired on the enemy leader, quickly downing him in 3 rounds. Seeing their leader fall, the rest of the brutes quickly fled away on their horses with their tails in between their legs (OUR EXTRA LOOT! COME BACK HERE! )! We stopped the boat at the shoreline after the battle to salvage the leader's items and released his horse back into the wilds so that it would no longer serve a bloodthirsty cause, we had no use keeping the horse anyway. 2 days later, we arrived at Shuguang and were welcomed by the Jhemulit tribe and its shaman leader Ogokai. However, we were told by Ogokai that he would not give us the incense we requested as he explained that he believes the sky spirits were angry for intending to give away this incense so freely that his village suffered a flood and one of the villagers was killed from a lightning strike. Only after we have proven that someone among us has the power over nature to 'calm down' the spirits would he satisfied to give what we came for. Fortunately, we had our Druid, Erd, to cast his 'nature' like spells like Entangle to prove to him we were worthy enough for the incense. We also figured that it be respectful to accept their overnight stay to ensure friendly relations in the future before we set off the next day. The couple days went by peacefully until we encountered a tax checkpoint/riverblockade set up by the Kingdom of Lingshen. We studied the blockade carefully to learn that it would be futile for our boat to ram through. We figured that the guards of Lingshen would have orders to hunt for The Braid of 100 masters and came up with a quick plan to 'hide' it by 'disguising/intergrating' it together with Baroness Seren's long hair. True enough, the guards halted us for inspection/tax collection when we docked the ship and spotted that Seren's hair was odd. Trying her best to feint pain as one of the guards tugged The Braid of 100 masters on her hair, it was futile as the guard managed to pry it out to expose the ruse and we had no choice but to engage them! The battle was over fast as we 'hastily' overpowered the guards and knocked out their bard captain with 'critical' might and 'air' magic (notably our Air Wizard sent the poor bard captain 'flying' up with a Air Geyser Spell and then he came crashing down) ! We looted their bodies and interrogated the bard captain for useful information before we made an agreement that we'll spare his life if he lowers the blockade to let us cross, 'confiscate' whatever useful items he has and promise to not tell anyone of this engagement. He readily agrees and we hurry across to escape away before the Kingdom of Lingshen could learn that we have The Braid of 100 masters. A day later, we had the travel through a narrow river which had a thick forest canopy. We figured that we had to get ready for a fight as it might be home a Kijimuna Goblin tribe. True enough, our knowledge proved right as hungry Kijimuna goblins seeking to make us their lunch zerg rushed us and attacked us. Aiming for softer targets like Seren & Iolite, they tried to overwhelm through sheer numbers but they were no match for the teamwork, magic and brutality of the party. They would hardly be a threat unless the party lingers too long along the thick forest canopy and the Druid wisely tries all in his power and skills to sail the boat out as fast as possible while the Cleric assisted him and the rest fought off the goblin invaders that boarded the ship. At one point, Erd failed to maintain control of the boat as it jerked violently to the right and almost caused people to fall overboard! Fortunately, after that close call for a man overboard, Erd manages to steer the boat away from the clutches of the Kijimuna Goblin tribe in 4 rounds while we all merely suffered minor 'smelly' burn damages from their dirty 'recylced' fire bombs! We dispatched the remaining goblins on our boat (notably one poor goblin got bull rushed off by Erd's Hydraulic push spell THIS IS SPRATA!) as we then cleaned ourselves up and moved on. 2 days later, we faced our most daunting encounter on the waters. A Lingshen warship was dispatched to hunt us down and it caught up with our boat when as we travelled down a fast flowing river valley. It was impossible to outrun the warship that was going at twice the speed of our boat and so we did all we could to prepare ourselves for the inevitable battle. Unfortunately, Erd who was sailing our boat got stressed out and could not focus to control the boat... this resulted in us dramatically slowing down! The Lingshen warship easily caught up to The Laughing Crow as crossbowmen rained arrows upon us and grappeling hooks were lauched against our boat to prevent us from going anywhere. Our Dwarfen Cleric, Eric, being tactically wise, casted Obsurcing Mist to buy us time and prevent the party from getting hit by arrow fire (and thus turning into porcupines). Unfortunately, a lot of us were hit by a Color Spray spell despite the cover we had! Seren & Iiolite ended up seeing stars on the floor as Monk raiders & the enemy commander, a female Magus, boarded our boat with ease as the mist cleared. It quickly looked like a losing battle for us as almost half of us were out and we were outnumbered. The situation turned dire when the enemy Magus (who kinda looked like Lucilia's human blonde Tien 'evil' twin) "stole" Lucilia's thunder with a critical hit to our paladin that disarmed her falchion! Nonetheless, we struggled on as Erd casted all the spells he could to slow the monk raiders down as he took punches while Eric did his job to keep the badly wounded paladin alive and Lucilia swore VENGEANCE as she took out her secondary melee weapon to engage the enemy Magus head on. As the fight went on, a lucky critical hit from the cleric's summoned spiritual weapon caused the Magus to be staggered... which saved Erd's life for the Magus intended to kill the near death Druid with a shocking grasp strike but had to change her target to be Lucilia as she could not take a 5 foot step to reach Erd! The shocking grasp strike easily connected upon the Paladin and caused enough damage that would have ended Erd's life if he had been hit instead! The damage from the shocking grasp would have possibly killed our Paladin in 1 hit even with Lucilia's electric resistance but Ragathiel blessed her with good healing from a prepared Heroic Defiance spell to still be able to stand for at least a round more for a last chance VENGEANCE! With Lucilia still standing to engage the Magus, Eric played his last ditch trump card. Praying to Sarenrae for celestial reinforcements (to lay the smackdown upon the enemy), Eric managed to summon 3 celestial eagles (ANGRY BIRDS!!! ) to assist Lucilia and surround the Magus! The eagles tored apart the Magus, killing her in a rain of sharp beakes & talons and almost accidently hit Erd too! With their commander down, our enemy's morale hit rock bottom as Seren & Iiolite recovered to join in the fight and we then easily took care of the monk raiders. The remaining Lingshen crew then surrendered in fear of our awesome might and magic as we took over their warship and made them clean up the mess they made, threatening them with execution via drowning should they decide to rebell against us. With things back in our control, we then licked our wounds and sailed off into the sunset to our next destination. And so The Quest for Perfection Part 2 ends...Notable events/achivements:- Paula achieves another 1 more critical! Total critical count: 7. Total fumble count: 4.

Quest for Perfection Part 2.5Year 2 February (Continued)The party now (temporary) had a nice new big boat to travel upon the waters towards their destination as we towed The Laughing Crow behind. We confiscated whatever equipment, amour and weapons the Lingshen soldiers had and locked them all up in the basement room of the ship while we allowed the Lingshen sailors to operate the boat under our watchful eyes. Those of us who stayed onboard the new ship enjoyed the more luxurious environment as Seren ordered Lucilia to guard the basement 'prison' while Erd and Iolite stayed on The Laughing Crow to take care of Erd's boar companion and sort/study through the new looted equipment respectively while ensuring we don't lose our old boat. All was fine for a day as nothing dramatic happened for we were cautious to keep a good lookout during our rest periods. But in the late afternoon on the next day, 2 river drakes ambushed Seren, Eric and Al who were on the deck of the Lingshen warship as the rest were still sleeping. The Lingshen sailors panicked as they fled to the lower decks for safety while we defended ourselves from this sudden attack with no one steering the ship! The drakes were hungry for flesh and wanted to make us our lunch and so the 3 of us had to quickly fend them off while trying to get a grip on the ship's controls! Fortune favored us as the ambush did little damage and we managed to stall them off good with our spells. Even Eric's summoned celestial eagle (ANGRY BIRD! ) aided the party well by clawing upon one of the drake so hard that it bled (critical hit) to death, plummeting into the river as it tried to escape! As the 3 tried to finish off the remaining drake which was blinded by Seren's Glitterdust, 2 Sahuagins suddenly jumped aboard and took hold of the steering wheel in attempts to crash the boat! Everyone was tossed about like ragdolls with the ship rocking back and forth hard before a crash into the river valley side almost caused a breach in the warship! The Sahuagins also managed to literally rip out the steering wheel as we cursed them for the havoc they have wrecked! With the surviving blind river drake retreating, we quickly opened fire on the ship wreckers as their poor bodies could not survive the barrage of offensive magic. With the deck cleared, Seren made her way to rally the sailors to row the warship's oars while Al and Eric did all they could to fix the problem of the broken steering wheel as fast they could! Luck was with us again as nothing important broke when the warship crashed into the river valley again before Seren managed to plead via hand signs to get the sailors to "Row row row your boat gently down the stream". Having figured out how to put back the steering wheel, Eric and Al managed to lift up the heavy wheel together back into its proper place as the surviving drake tried hard to finish off the badly wounded Al but ultimately perished it could not handle the tag-team combination of the eagle summoning (ANGRY BIRD! ) dwarf and the electrifying wizard! With things back to normal, everyone calmed down as we looted the corpses of the Sahuagins. We also skinned the drake and opened up its body for a very valuable magical item! For assisting us in rowing and keeping the boat afloat, Seren decides that the Lingshen sailors shall be released back alive together with the Lingshen soldiers once near the destination with the minimum supplies/equipment they need to get back to their kingdom. Their kingdom would probably punish them for their failure if they decide to go back anyway. And so we ride into the sunset once more with more valuable loot found as everyone in our party smiled at the fortune amassed! And so The Quest for Perfection Part 2.5 ends...

Quest for Perfection Part 3Year 2 February (Continued)After reaching to our destination, we released the Lingshen sailors (who were extremely grateful for their lives spared) back to their Nation and we continued on to our destination of Nesting Swallow. After a little traveling, we encountered what seemed to be 4 hooded thugs harassing and mugging peasants. Seren tried heading over to distract the thugs by pretending to be another innocent vulnerable pretty peasant passing by but the thugs saw through the guise and we jumped into battle. Turns out the thugs were Tengus, as they lowered their hoods and came forth to engage us in combat. But unfortunately for them, we were more than a match for them as Lucilia charged forth to strike the 1st blow and Iolite gracefully swiped into the fray while Seren Inspired Courage and Al casted Haste upon the party. Within 2 rounds 2 Tengus were taken out as the remaining 2 on horseback tried to do a ride-by attack but could not cause seem to do much damage to the frontliners as they then changed the focus of their attacks upon Seren and Al. Because the Paladin was hasted and had a clear path to charge forward towards 1 of the horseback Tengu, it was quite a sight to see a fully armoured being cover 100m within 6 secs (freaking scary if you're the Tengu enemy) perform a charge attack. The sudden surprise shocked the Tengu as Lucilia scored a critical hit and carved some intials (specifically it was "LOL" ) onto the Tengu's body! Humiliated, the Tengu tried to flee into the forest in embarassment but Lucilia was not done as she smited her cowardly opponent and let loose an arrow shot that managed to hit and kill off the poor Tengu! The last Tengu on horseback succumbed to Seren's Hideous Laughter and then tried to flee (laughing away) as well but the hasted Iolite easily caught up to tear apart the bird like how nature works (Insert "RULES OF NATURE" song)! We looted their corpses as Seren and Al went over to comfort the terrified peasants. The peasants thought we were another bandit group and offered 1 of their young men for 'sacrifice' but we assured them we were just adventurers who decided to rescue them as we could not stand to see evil being done. After calming them down and introducing ourselves, we learned that they were the Xien family led by Xien Wun Lao (who was actually one of the village elders of Nesting Swallow) and were trying to flee from the Tengu bandit plaguing the area. Turns out that they had to turn back as they could not continue with their transport mules dead and asked us to lend a hand to escort them back to the village in return for the village's hospitality. We readily argeed since that was our destination anyway. We soon arrived and many of the villagers gave curious looks at us for we were rather exotic foreigners to them, especially Iolite who looked like a big sized lucky walking fortune cat! Nonetheless, we were given a warm welcome after Xien Wun Lao spread the tales of our heroic acts and soon we came to meet the elders of the village. One of them was who we were looking for, a woman named Je Tsun, last of Li Yao's descendants... at least for now as she was pregnant. We told them that we seek for The Braid of 100 masters to be empowered in a ritual which can only be carried out by a descent of Li Yao, but they only agreed to do so if we accepted to help them defend the village aganist the Tengu bandits that would soon come to raid them of their food supplies. They had decided that they had enough of being picked upon and saw us as an opportunity to be able to finally fight back since we were skilled at battle of might and magic to assist the village in quickly training up and constructing defenses. We agreed since we could not sit back and let these innocent villagers have their food taken away. "VENGENACE!" Lucilia yelled, proclaiming that it would be her pleasure to cut down the wicked as we had a long week ahead to plan and get ready for their arrival... So we had several things to do: 1. Harvest the crops 2. Flood Fields (after harvest is done) 3. Train Archers 4. Train Melee Combat 5. Construct Barricades 6. Scout- Harvest: It was completed in 1 day as Seren, Al, Erd and Iolite showed their inner harvest moon prowess as the 40 villagers who were also on the task looked on in awe! WOW-WHEE! - Flood Fields: With the Harvest done so quickly, Seren worked together with 30 villagers to quickly acomplish this with her bardic knowledge within just 1 day! WOW-WHEE! - Train Archers: Seren shows no rust in her archery as she teaches the best upcoming archers within 2 days as she sings "I'll make a man out of you"! Al then works on crafting better bows with his limited crafting knowledge but managed to make some pretty good stuff for an inexperienced crafter. - Train Melee Combat: Lucilia shows off her inner dominatrix to get the villagers riled and trained up for the fires of war (and even gained some submissive admirers)! Seren too shows her fierce side as she trains other villagers too! - Construct Barricades: Al and Iolite showed their inner Izzet ingenious ideas of enginneering and architecture to make a grand wooden fences that were near impenetrable without fire or siege equipment! WOW-WHEE! - Scout: Erd easily took advantage of his Druidic powers and knowledge of the wilderness for an easy time to learn accurate details of the bandit movements and finally called upon Nature to impede the bandit approach with plant overgrowth and thorny vines that would animate and tentacle hentai attack any bandit that dared enter the forest! Training the villagers for battle Seren Laeren: Let's get down to business To defeat the Birds Did they send me cowards When I asked for none? You're the saddest bunch I ever met But you can bet Before we're through Mister, I'll make a man out of you! Tranquil as a forest But on fire within Once you find the path right you are sure to win You're a spineless, pale pathetic lot And you haven't got a clue Somehow I'll make a man out of you!
Within a week, a lot of defenses were constructed and the villagers were ready and confident to fight the bandits. Finally, Al and Iolite made more traps as Eric who finally found his way to the village taught the villagers 1st-aid (but unfortunately to no avail), Lucilia took this time to make a quick prayer to Ragathiel as she prepared to slay evil in the name of justice and Seren sang songs of courage and bravery to boost morale... Finale Inspiring Song
Seren Laeren: Fear not this night, you will not go astray. Though shadows fall, still the stars find their way. Awaken from a quiet sleep, hear the whispering of the wind. Awaken as the silence grows in a solitude of the night. Darkness spreads through all the land and your weary eyes open silently.
Sunsets have forsaken all and must open their eyes and, Nightmares come when shadows grow... Ice glows and heartbeats slow.
Fear not this night, you will not go astray. Though shadows fall, still the stars find their way. And you can always be strong. Lift your voice, with the first light of dawn. Dawn is just a heartbeat away Hope's just a sunrise away.
Distant sounds of melodies calling through the night to your heart. Auroras, mists and echoes dance in the solitude of our life. Pleading silent arias gently grieving in captive misery. Darkness sings a forlorn song and yet our hope can still rise up. Nightmares come when shadows grow. Lift your voice, lift your heart.
Fear not this night, you will not go astray. Though shadows fall, still the stars find their way. And though the night sky's filled with blackness... Fear not rise up... come on and take my hand. Fear not this night, you will not go astray. Though shadows fall, still the stars find their way.
Fear not this night, you will not go astray. Though shadows fall, still the stars find their way. And you can always be strong. Lift your voice, with the first light of dawn. Dawn is just a heartbeat away Hope's just a sunrise away.
With the village trained for battle with well constructed defenses and traps laid out, morale was high. Soon Erd returned from scouting to inform us that the bandits were moving out to attack us and we braced ourselves for the incoming invasion. The traps and obstacles killed or slowed many Tengu bandits as they fell into pits, ran into spikes, drowned in the flooded fields and pricked upon thorny undergrowth. Those that made it to the village were then greeted by Seren's crossbow attacks. Seren's archery was fine as she managed to kill 2 bandits and even scored a critical hit (piercing a poor Tengu's belly)! Meanwhile, Erd introduced nature's wrath as he conjured lightning bolts to strike down the invaders and animated the plant growth outside the village to attack! But the Tengus were crafty to quickly study the defenses weak points to hurl alchemical fire at our wooden barricades and the fire eventually started to spread to the other houses as some villagers stopped battling to put out the fires on their homes together with Eric (Boros Fire Fighter!) who repeatedly casted Create Water. The battle raged on and Iolite got bored waiting for the Tengus to break through the barricades. She eventually decided to jump over the barricades and head out on her own to pick a fight. With such fast movement, it only took her 6 seconds to approach a Tengu. The Tengu then attacked with its wakizashi but Iolite parried it and successfully counterattcked with her rapier to critically hit the bird (stabbing the Tengu in the eye and all the way into the brain) and killed the poor bird in 1 strike! Satisfied, Iolite then clamly walked back into the village LIKE A BOSS. Most badass moment of the day! For a moment after we killed over a dozen Tengus, there was an errie moment of silence as we wondered what would happen. Suddenly, a huge owlbear burst into the village as the villagers fled from it screaming in fear that it was a 'demon' sent to slaughter everyone! Al immediately sent his previously conjured air elemental to distract it while Lucilia, Iolite and Erd's boar bravely charged at it. The owlbear howled in pain as it was struck by those engaging it in melee. It quickly swiped out the air elemental in 1 hit as it then targeted Lucilia, savagely mauling her before picking/grabbing her up like a ragdoll! It then almost critically bit off Lucilia's head before it tried to crush her to death. Lucilia's holy symbol took the burnt of the attack as Lucilia herself slumped to the floor after being squished... she was barely alive for her holy symbol saved her from certain death! With 1 ally down, Iolite desperately tried a David vs Goliath stunt but could not pulled off the upset as her skills could not deflect the mighty arms of the owlbear! Suddenly, 3 forceful magic missiles slammed into the owlbear as it went down with a thunderous roar of agony. Al sniped off the owlbear before Iolite ended up being a pancake! With the owlbear dead, Eric then rushed over to fully heal everyone back to health and ensured Lucilia was not visiting Pharasma too soon before he was forced to use up all his healing powers. More fire suddenly erupted, Eric could only then delegate himself to firefighting as he wished the others luck in fending off the final wave of bandits... Soon, the Tengu bandit lord showed up riding a griffon with clipped wings togther with 2 cronies on axe beak mounts. Attacking from an unexpected angle, the party were caught by surprise as they charged and slammed their lances into Erd's boar, Iolite and Lucilia! Poor Iolite suffered the worst hit as a critical was scored on her and she was nearly impaled! Erd and Al quickly bursted out whatever best spell they had left as Seren repeatedly tried to cast Hideous Laughter upon the bandit lord but her effort were futile as the bandit lord resisted all the party's attempts to debuff him. Iolite then went down from a axe beak attack as Erd quickly casted Obscuring Mist to save her from being finished off while Lucilia held her ground dueling the bandit lord as Erd's boar took on the Tengu minions. In this critical moment of desperation, Lucilia scored a critical hit upon the bandit lord cutting off 3 of his fingers and instantly making him bleed out to death squawking in horror! Erd's boar also followed up on the momentum and scored a critical hit upon the minions too, killing them off in 1 blow! With the Tengus dead, Erd moved to calming down the axe beak mounts while Lucilia gently took hold off the griffon promising to not hurt it if it settled down to be her new mount (unlike its previous abusive Tengu master) as Seren carried Iolite towards a corner to nurse their wounds. The battle was won! Only 4 villagers died defending Nesting Swallow as the remaing villagers celebrated their victory over the Tengu bandits. As promised, Je Tsun took a day to perform the ritual to bless/empower the The Braid of 100 masters while we cleaned up the village. It was a happy ending for the good hearted people as the very few remaining bandits scattered and would be too emotionally scarred to attack battle trained peasants ever again for Nesting Swallow would once again know peace. Notable events/achivements:- Paula achieves another hilarious critical (& a fumble critical which was re-rolled via use of Hero Point)! Paula also scores an epic critical finish upon the Tengu boss! Total critical count: 9. Total fumble count: 5.

lol, nice break down of the fight.
Just a reminder to everyone, the guild signets page has been updated. 4 of the guilds have expended options for their guild signets. Please have a look and let me know.

Kingdom Turn 12:Year 2 FebuaryQuest for Perfection part 2, 2.5 & 3. Summary written in previous posts. Kingdom Turn 13:Year 2 MarchWe return to Guildor to discover that there were 2 cases of girsly murders and a mass slaughter of sheep cattle that have taken place in our kingdom's peaceful town just a day ago while we still away and now the citizens were in uproar over wanting vengenace upon the murderer! We were quickly surrounded by our citizens who demanded that justice be done and eyed upon us to take action. Erd and Eric wisely realised the dire situation of our reputation at stake seeing as Baroness Seren was still coping with return home culture shock syndrome to give a proper address (Seren kept rolling very low for knowledge local) and quickly gathered the party for a quick meeting of the minds while Lucilia quickly stepped up to settle down the crowd with the promise of at least 100gp reward to any witnesses who can help us advance our investigations. We learnt that Saki (a pretty female inn bar maid) and Beden (a young sheppard boy) were brutally murdered on the outskrits of town. Then, Beden's poor family then came upon us begging for help to avenage Beden's death and compensation for this tragedy as he was one of their main source of income, right in front of the crowd that we were trying so hard to settle down... Beden's mother soon fainted mid-sentence and Eric quickly went to check up upon her as we promised to do whatever we could to get to the bottom of this case. After taking care of the fainted elderly woman and allowing the family a year of being tax free to ease their poor financial income, Erd took stage to declare that investigations will be carried out immediately without delay and all witnesses are to make their way to the castle for report before the crowd dispersed. "To the murderer out there... I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. But you have done something very terrible. I will look for you, I will find you and if you don't surrender to justice... I will kill you." - EricWe quickly settled down as Baroness Seren took her kitsune paramour to the safety of the castle telling him to always remain in human form and keep calm. Once we took care of settling back home, we got on to business with the many witnesses gathered at the audience chamber. Lucilia managed to get the witnesses to queue in an orderly fashion as we slowly learned more information of what went down. After the witnesses were done reporting, we then checked out the dead bodies of Saki & Beden... grusome sight indeed as they had lots of flesh torn apart by what seems like claw marks and both their throats were ripped out in a bloody spectacle like they were victims of a Mortal Kombat Fatality! Finally, we investigated the scene were the sheep were slaughtered and Erd managed to track down (with his AWESOME survival skills) what seemed to be wolf foot prints leading into town. It was quite clear looking at all these evidence of wolf howling in the night, wolf footprints, claw slash marks and a full moon cycle that some werewolf creature/being/thing was on the loose... "Oh no! House Stark still wants a piece of us... Winter is coming... but that shall not stop our dreams of making Guildor the greatest kingdom people shall love and respect! Prepare as much silver as we can, twilight dawns upon us but let this not become a sad excuse for a romance story... this is but a test for our young kingdom and WE SHALL TRIUMPH!" - Seren LaeranReports also indicated that a strange quiet Kellid tribal man came into town a few days ago and stayed at the Inn. Following our gumptions, we headed over to the Inn to investigate as we had a very strong feeling that he was the culprit. We checked the Innkeeper's logbook to discover that his name was Kundal and confirmed that he had indeed booked a room. We asked perimission to enter this suspect's room which was of course granted. Seren's enhanced sonic hearing sensors came to play with her detecting no one in the room but a squeaky rat (which Erd warned not to underestimate it for it could be the suspect with shapeshifter abilities). Iolite quickly unlocked the locked guest's room (as the slow Innkeeper took a while to find the room's spare keys) and Eric immediately spotted that there was indeed a rat in the room... with something strange on its teeth. Like a natural predator, Iolite pounced upon the rat and managed to grab it before it could scamper off to play with it as the rest if the party found it was chewing on... Saki's missing earlobe (Ewwww)! We also found Saki's missing earring as we continued to scour the whole room for more clues (while Iolite continued to play with the poor rat) but found nothing else that would prove of this Kellid's man killing. We caged the rat (after forcefully making Iolite stop playing with it) as an evidence possibility and concluded that we had to keep our guard up tonight for we had a werewolf to hunt. Erd then quickly went into the forest found and gathered wolfsbane herbs to combat the possibility of lycanthropy before sunset as we prepared ourselves and alerted the townsfolk to all stay in their homes just for tonight and ensure all available guards were on duty to prevent a crisis from happening. Night soon came and it was time to expect the werewolf attack to happen eventually. We took the risk of splitting up to ensure that we could cover more ground while keeping within signet contact distance. True enough, Eric spotted a werewolf about to attack a travelling merchant and jumped to his rescue immediately alerting the rest of the party members via signet and quickly summoned an eagle to distract the werewolf. The summoned bird was quickly torn apart as it allowed the merchant to flee into town screaming like a little girl while Eric braced himself to buy more time for reinforcements to arrive. The werewolf then charged upon Eric but fortunately missed spectacularly which allowed Eric the space he needed to repeatedly spam summoned monsters to distract and block the werewolf as Lucilia arrived 30 seconds later riding upon her new griffon mount, Thunderquill. Lucilia immediately smited evil upon the werewolf and charged in to engage it in melee. Another 6 seconds later, Iolite arrived to throw in support as blades flew into the werewolf. Eventually, Lucilia managed to non-lethally knock out the werewolf with help from the rest (as Seren arrived late for the party). We tied up the werewolf and applied wolfsbane on it with hopes that it would return back to normal form. Fortunately, 1 good use of wolfsbane was all that was needed as the werewolf transformation was slowly reversed and there stood before us the strange Kellid tribal man. Lucilia detected that the man slowly lost his evil aura as the skin started to return back to normal and informed the rest that this man would indeed be not in control of himself while he was in an enraged werewolf mode (breathing a sigh of relief that she managed to not kill an innocent man). We took him in our custody as he stated that he was remorseful for his actions as an uncontrollable werewolf and wished for someway he could pay for his terrible things that he commited. Seeing that he was not evil and now only seeked redemption, Eric who worshipped Sarenrae (goddess of redemption) figured that we should spare his life but put him on a term of community service to help our country of Guildor. When we returned, we announced that we had finally solved the murder case and can now put to rest the 2 deceased people. To calm down those that felt excution of the Kellid man would be justifiable, Eric then gave a grand speech on how this kingdom was built by reformed bandits and everyone should be given (at least) a chance to redeem themselves for the greater good and become better people. For sparing his life and giving him a 2nd chance, Kundal offered his +1 greataxe to us to keep/use as a gesture of thanks and goodwill to his dedication on the long path to redemption. Thus, our kingdom would once again know peace (at least for the time being) with this mini-crisis averted as we could return back to our hopes of rebuilding the kingdom into a glorious empire. Notable events/achivements:- Nothing flashy this time. Paula's critical count. Total critical count: 9. Total fumble count: 5.

Kingdom Turn 13 (Continued):Year 2 March (Year 4711) Upkeep phase: - Kingdom remained stable despite the "werewolf" incident/crisis. - Midnight, the kingdom's Royal Enforcer steped down, insisting that she runs a bank instead! Thankfully, her vacancy did not affect our kingdom's stability, loyalty or our economy much. Edict phase: - Claimed a new hex. It has a gold mine on it! $_$ We also build a road on it. - Build up a Bank to satisfy our moneyminded former Royal Enforcer into staying in our Kingdom (just so she can 'swim' in a pool of gold like Scoorge McDuck). Income phase: - Slightly poor income. Event: - Perlivash (Faerie Dragon), Chief Grabbles (Mite leader) & Chief Sootscale (Kobold leader) wanted to apply for the position of Royal Enforcer, but we had other plans as we wanted to leave it open for other (more capable & trustworthy) suitable candidate(s)... thankfully we manage to placate them to avoid an unnecessary confrontation. - Nothing else notable happened after the "werewolf" incident/crisis.

Kingdom Turn 14:Year 2 April (Year 4711)Upkeep phase: - Kingdom remains stable. Edict phase: - Claimed a new hex. Only 1 more hex away from Oleg's Trading Post! - Build a quarry in our capital area hex. - No new buildings erected this month. - Proclaimed this month to have a holiday. National Day of Guildor.Income phase: - Slightly below average income. Event: Akiros' past returns to haunt/Redemption of AkirosAs the founders of the kingdom of Guildor celebrated National Day of Guildor together with the citizens, Spymaster Iiolite Moondrop managed to keep her senses sharp to spot a bunch of armed worshippers of Erastil making their way through the celebrating crowds... they looked like trouble. Iiolite immediately set off and nimbly tumbled through the crowd to get to the stage where the inner council of Guildor were to warn about the approaching people that they bear the symbols of Erastil and that unnecessary violence on our part may cause the our kingdom to lose faith in us since Erastil is the most commonly worshipped God. Soon, the armed worshippers were in front of the stage and declared out loud in public that Akiros was to be punished in the name of Erastil for commiting murders in the past and demanded that he show himself to answer for his crimes. One of the armed worshippers stepped up 1st, a beautiful female elf Paladin of Erastil, Alissa, yelled out to Akiros to return to his village home for trial. The next one to step up was Mickal, a middle aged male Cleric of Erastil, who expressed his dissapointment that his 'son' would run away to a distant land to escape justice and now mingles with our party like some freeman. All of us were stunned/speechless on hearing this dark secret that Akiros kept hidden but Councilor Erd was the quickest to recover from the revelation and told everyone to calm down and settle this in a peaceful manner seeing as they worshipped Erastil as he did. Akiros was frighted pale upon seeing his past catch up to him and this was a clear indication that he had been guilty of a horrible act. Meanwhile, Iiolite tiptoed to the sidelines of the crowd and Lucilia clanked about to the other side as they placed their hands on their weapons, each prepared for the worst should violence erupt if tensions escalate. Keeping his cool, Councilor Erd wisely realised that not only would fighting these armed worshippers cause Erastil himself to be dissapointed that blood of his followers would be spilled, these armed worshippers looked well prepared and deadly with Erastil's favored weapon of a Longbow... Erd then stepped up and offered them to discuss this matter in private at the auidence chamber inside the castle and managed to surprisingly succeed his diplomacy check (probably because this was an important matter that Erastil himself was watching) to convince fellow Erastil followers that we mean no harm and are offering our help to slove this trouble together. Eventually, Mickal decided that we were indeed going to keep our words intact and offered an apology for being so rude to barge into the middle of the celebration, but he insisted that he and his followers escort Akiros at all times for they cannot allow a murderer to escape justice again. Ruler Seren agreed that it would be ok for them to be escorts of Akiros as she addressed to the crowd to continue enjoying themselves with the celebration while she handles the matter back in her castle. And so we all marched off to the auidence chamber inside the castle without a fight as the crowd slowly tried to get back into the festive mood... Back in the auidence chamber, we gathered around to discuss how we could resolve this peacefully over a cup of warm fine tea. Despite the fact that the situation seemed hostile/unfriendly and that tempers could flare up at any moment to esclate into a messy fight, everyone managed to keep calm as Alissa and Father Mickal explained in further detail what atrocities Akiros did. To sum it up, Akiros had been in a love affair while he was still living back in his home village in Taldor and one day murdered his lover which left a poor child to be an orphan... Akiros was to return back to his village by orders of the village elders for trial and judgement (which would most likely be death or life in prison). Councilor Erd did agree that while his crimes were indeed serious, Akiros was on the "long and hard" path to redemption which was never easy for him to do but had been putting much effort into it. Councilor Erd also explained that Akiros currently now has a duty of being the General of Guildor, a task in which only Akiros qualifies for currently. To remove Akiros from his duties would cause significant disruption to the community of Guildor and that would be a bad thing in the eyes of Erastil. After much thought, Father Mickal requested a quiet garden where he could commune with Erastil as the rest of the worshippers stayed to ensure no trouble happens. After a tense hour, it was decided. Father Mickal passed his judgement that Akiros may live but he would be exiled forever from his home village and would need to bear half of the cost of the fees that is necessary to raise the orphaned child of the murdered parents (while Guildor will cover the other half as a gesture of goodwill). Father Mickal also was willing to perform an atonement on Akiros which we decided that it would done in public to show that he is indeed willing to change back into being a Paladin (and to show that the people in charge of Guildor are trustworthy). So immediately the next day once the preparations were complete, Akiros wearing only but a loincloth went through the ritual of atonement as the rulers and the public watched on at the humble shrine near the bank. Akiros himself agreed that he had to show the world that he had nothing to hide to be a Paladin. He had a brand of Erastil burnt upon his chest as clerics poured ash over a kneeling/praying Akiros while Father Mickal remained focused in his rousing oratory of judgement. Eventually, the ritual was over... Akiros regained his holy divine powers as he managed to demonstrate the use of Lay on Hands on a wounded passerby as the public cheered over the fact that Erastil has forgiven this man who has just emerged from the trial of redemption to be once again good and trustworthy. (All this while, Midnight, the former royal enforcer made quite a tidy profit with her sale of refreshing water and exclusive rooftop viewing VIP seats at the nearby bank! $_$) To our pleasant surprise, an Envoy from Brevoy had been quietly observing how we handled this crisis. This handsome man's name was Brinian, a member of the Swordlord and a minor noble. He actually met up with the Erastil worshippers while on the way to Guildor and tagged along with them to see how things would play out. He was quite impressed with the way we handled things and would be happy to report back to Brevoy that we were doing very well to slove any problems that came our way. Looks like Brevoy and Guildor will still continue to have a good friendly relationship. As Father Mickal and his worshippers prepared to leave, we proposed that we could conduct a trading business between Guilor and Taldor in the near future. Mickal replied that it would be possible and requested that if we could help find and restore a lost temple of Erastil deep within the Fey forest, we could probably secure this good business sooner. For Akiros himself, he was greatly sadden by the fact that he cannot ever return to his homeland, he was relieved in this miracle to live on and offered his most sincere thanks and promised/pledged his life to making Guildor the greatest kingdom because we cared about his life. Welcome back Paladin of Erastil Akiros! And so, we managed to solve the crisis without a drop of bloodshed much thanks to wise Oread Councilor Erd. Erd ROCKS!

Kingdom Turn 15:Year 2 May (Year 4711)Upkeep phase: - Kingdom remains stable. Edict phase: - Assigned Kesten Garess to be our new Royal Enforcer (for showing restraint and control during Akiros' redemption event). - Claimed a new hex, HELLO Oleg's Trading Post! - Build a road connecting to Oleg's Trading Post. Now we have a path for traders to travel upon to do business with Guildor! - Build a Library. Books & Knowledge (and a place for our Spymaster to hide amongst books!) for everyone! Income phase: - Great income earned! Event: Elder Mite's Revenge/Assassination Attempt on Inner CouncilIt was seemingly another usual peaceful night. The guards were on patrol as the Inner Council members slept in their respective rooms and beds. But an evil being had plans to bring ruin, death and despair upon the ones who fought against him and his allies, revenge was on his mind. Baroness Seren's kitsune paramour awoke to a strange sound coming from outside the room and figured that he could investigate it by himself without disturbing Seren's sleep. As soon as he walked out of the door, 2 strange small figures with colorful green glowy eyes stared upon him and he could not resist... Meanwhile Baroness Seren awoke from a horrible nightmare of her being sacrificed alive with a sharp dagger being plunged into her heart while gagged and chained to an altar. Clutching her chest, she was relieved to know that it was just a bad dream. She then turned to her kitsune paramour for comfort but to her horror, he had a dagger in his hands looking to strike her as his eyes glowed in a strange domineering green mesmeric light swirling with an explosion of vibrant rainbow of colors! Seren prayed that this was just another nightmare, as her kitsune paramour swiped the dagger at her chest. Upon feeling pain from the slash on her shoulder blade, she knew that this was no dream, as she let loose a high pitched scream of distress. The door to the Baroness' bed chambers then flew open to reveal 2 blue small creatures that had similar mesmeric lights swirling in their eyes as they stared intently at both Seren and her lover. Seren felt a strange compulsion to immediately stop and look at the pretty vibrant swirling colors but a critical dagger hit (caused by her lover) to her leg which somehow caused her an ankle sprain reinforced the fact that her life was in peril and she screamed again as loud as she could hoping someone could save her! General Akiros who was in the next room, heard Seren's scream and was quick to assume the worst as he grabbed his longsword & shield and went out to investigate, only to be ambushed by the castle guards who succumbed to the domineering green mesmeric light as soon as he exited his room... Spymaster Iiolite Moonstone who was 2 rooms away awoke to something amiss, her cat senses and twitching whiskers indicated something wasn't right as she instinctively took up her rapier and opened the door, only to be similiarly ambushed like Akiros as a succumbed castle guard swung his heavy flail to hit an offguard Iiolite... Across the corridor, High Priest Eric awoke from the commotion happening outside and quickly took a peek out his door only to succumb to the similar mesmeric light from a little creature's eyes as soon as his eyes contacted its gaze! In Councilor Erd's room, the door was forcefully flung open with a loud thud as Erd was rudely awaken. Two succumbed castle guards entered his room armed and spoke in unison with an eerie distorted voice: "ReMEMber Me Erd? I hAve cOMe baCk for rEVENge!!! YoU Will PAY fOR whAt you've dONE!"All this while, Warden Lucilia and Royal Enforcer Kesten Garess continued sleeping, completely oblivious to the threat outside their rooms... Back in Seren's bedroom, Seren tried in vain to stop her lover from hurting her as she casted Hideous Laughter on him. However it didn't stop the kitsune from continuing his attack, despite the spell successfully working to make him laugh! Again Seren suffered more slash wounds as she averted her eyes to the swirling gaze coming from the kitsune and the 2 small creatures. Meanwhile, Akiros and Iiolite desperately battled the castle guards as they non-lethally took them out after suffering more damage (they weren't wearing armour). Akiros then told Iiolite to cover the corridor as he'll save the Baroness before sprinting over to Seren's room. More guards then poured into the castle as a dazzling array of swirling lights coming from their eyes overwhelmed Iiolite... Eric felt a short strange feeling of being a friend to the little creature he just saw and steped out to greet it. He was immediately attacked by a castle guard and quickly snapped out of compulsion upon receiving a hit. Eric then knew crap hit the ceiling after seeing what was happening along the corridor and ducked back into his room to grab his equipment to defend against the intruders. In Erd's room, the Oread took the compelled guards out to with 'clubbing' as he responded to the errie voice: "Begone foul one or face Guildor's judgement!"Seren was then backed into a corner in her room as her Hideous Laughter spells failed to stop her assilants and her lover from closing onto her. Suddenly, the kitsune spoke in an errie voice that Seren never heard before: "AiDing tHe peoPle tHat triEd to fOIL me is as gOOd as aSKINg for sUFFERing upON your morTal liFe PrINcESS! NoW yOu shALL sEE tHe oNEs you LOVe DIE! MUAHAHAHAHAHA!". Upon completing his sentence, the kitsune then prepared to plunge the dagger into his heart as Seren pleaded with the malevolent being to take her instead. "YoU cAn oFFer your liFe to me in perSON aFTEr thIS ONE DIEs preTTy littLe THINg! KEHEHEHEHE!" was the beings' response! Seren then watched in horror as her lover was forced to cut open his chest and rip out his heart with his hands and then squeeze the blood out of the still beating heart upon his face! FATALITY!VIDEO NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART!
As the kitsune slowly came back to his senses, he could only look upon his lover in shock as he tried to reach out for but one final farewell touch... alas he quickly fell to the ground with a sickening thud as blood poured freely. Seren could only scream at the top of her lungs in anguish after witnessing her loved one, being forced to commit a bloody suicide, as she cried profusely. The 2 remaining small creatures then took out small dart blowers and was about to start pelting Seren with sharp darts, when Akiros heroically barged in and took them both out in 1 powerful cleave! Seren cried out thankfully and hugged her savior, and took her equipment as he carried her to safety. Iiolite was faced with over 9 pairs of whirling glowing eyes staring upon her soul and it was inevitable that she'll succumb to its tantalizing gaze, but fortunately getting attacked managed to make her snap out of it as she quickly KOed a guard and crashed into Lucilia's room. Lucilia awoke to see a badly injured Spymaster and immediately jumped out of bed to heal the wounded Felix before grabbing her weapons to engage the intruders. Fortunately, Kesten Garess also awoke to what's going on as he joined in the melee, and Eric tactically laid down Obscuring Mist to block as much of the swirling gazes as he could, before everyone could be turned into mindcontrolled thralls. With all the available Inner Council members awake and aware of the attack, the attackers were easily identified as mites under the control of the Elder Mite that Erd had fought (off) before. The surprise assassination failed as mites were quickly slain and guards regained their senses to rejoin in defending the place. Soon, with only 1 mite left standing, the eerie voice spoke out: "ThIs isn't oVer fOOLs! I'LL BE BACK!", before the last mite managed to jump out of castle and escape. Everything then went back to normal as the strange glowing lights seen outside during the fight faded away as everyone made a head count and tended to the wounded. Fortunately, everyone was alive and kicking except the Baroness' poor paramour... Event Epilogue:Story Mites' Chieftian Chief Grabbles was shocked to learn that the Elder Mite was still alive after being defeated long time ago and demanded why wasn't the Elder Mite killed. Grabbles also commented that the Mites we 'accidently' slain were some of his story mites that went missing not long ago and was terrified that the Elder Mite still lives to haunt the Inner Council. We reassured Grabbles that he simply needs to keep his guard up until we take the fight to the Elder Mite, for this was a threat that we had to deal with as soon as possible... With her kitsune paramour murdered in front of her very eyes, Baroness Seren swore to avenge her dead lover (as reviving the kitsune would burn a hole through Guildor's available funds) and the Inner Council quietly gave him a funeral and buried him in the castle's rose gardens. Baroness Serenade Laeran Avelyn: "Rest in peace my love, you'll be avenged or I'll die trying!"

Now's there safe water for the inhabitants of the castle! Income phase: - Good income. Event: Big "Mama's" House 2 (Not Another Twilight Story)! To the surprise of most of the Inner Council members, a familiar face dropped by to visit our kingdom of Guildor. It was "Mama", a charismatic but rather eccentric brown skinned female half-elf calistrian mamasan that Seren, Eric and Lucilia remembered all too well from a rave party that she held in Absalom about a year ago. Apparently, she came here with her entourage to stay in Guildor for a month to see and enjoy what splendid things Guildor had to offer. Seems that Guildor's quick rise to fame and fortune has spread far and wide, to the point where even a far away place such as Absalom now has most of its residents recognise Guildor like a Household name . After some formalities, "Mama" informed us that we were invited over to the Noble Villa for another rave party. Apparently a friend of "Mama", a lady by the name of Veronica Fa Vital had bought over the Villa from merchant Nathye Clacey and was preparing to throw a feast/party tomorrow. Baroness Seren was more than happy to be invited (for she longed for a reason to wear her fancy designer evening gown again) and seduced took along Akiros as her partner/bodyguard. Eric and Lucilia also decided to accept the invitation as a show of courtesy. Councillor Erd on the other hand was a little reluctant to go (upon hearing what happened the last time the rest were in the rave party) and decided that he'll turn up late to check up on the rest half way through the party while he plots plans for other things that were more important. Arriving at Big "Mama's" House/Noble Villa of Veronica Fa Vital, a halfling butler welcomed the 4 inner council members and informed that it was mandatory to peacebond their weapons before guiding them in and offered strange masquerade masks for which the guests were requested to wear. Only Baroness Seren was in the mood for the strange illusion magic that radiated from the mask and galdly wore it to fit in with the other guests, the rest politely refused for they claimed it didn't fit their dressing. In just a few minutes, the council members were invited to the dinner hall for a grand feast. It was a lively occasion where they caught up with Big "Mama" on the happenings and current events of Absalom and the world as the 7 course meal went on from bufflao wings, roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, fine wine and many other exquisite food from around Golarion. Eventually, it was almost time for dessert but Seren and Eric suddenly felt weak from all the eating... Seren then excused herself to the restroom with Akiros in tow as lady Veronica Fa Vital looked at her in slight displeasure. Seren suddenly felt a slight lost of reality when she looked into Veronica's eye but quickly snapped out of it and left the room, oblivious to something foreboding. Eric on the other hand was suggested by Lucilia to take their leave early by giving an excuse of having duties to perfrom the following day and needing proper rest to recover. Veronica then insisted on Eric staying on as he felt his conscious slipping away gazing upon her eyes but Lucilia dragged him away before he could go unconscious to accept a guard's offer to take him to a private room in the villa... Emerging from the restroom, Baroness Seren still felt groggy even after managing to relieve herself. Akiros then suggested to her that she should perhaps kindly inform Big "Mama" about leaving earlier to recover when an elven guard approached them and insisted that Seren stay on. Seren politely declined as she placed her the back of her hand on her forehead citing that she wasn't well, but the guard had the audacity to demand that Akiros get lost from the party and claimed that he needed to be escorted out for doing something to the Baroness. Immediately, Seren realised that something was amissed as a very pale skinned humanoid figure walked into the room and began to stare at her like a pervert. Meanwhile on the second floor of the villa, Eric and Lucilia were escorted by the halfling butler and an elven guard when a similar pale skinned humanoid started to suspiciously follow them up. It wasn't long before the council members realised that the pale skin humanoids were vampires out for blood and they had been set up! Seren let out a loud scream of distress as the vampire thrall managed to claw and drain her vitality while Akiros valiantly fought off the elven ranger that tried to knock Seren out. At the same time, Eric and Lucilia found themselves surrounded by a vampire thrall, a halfling spellcaster and an elven ranger but refused to backdown as the Boros Legion members stood together to face the odds. Meanwhile, Erd had just reached the Noble Villa when he overheard Seren's unmistakable scream of distress. Erd facepalmed as he wondered what peril has the damsel gotten into again and immediately went to the front door to get in, only to find it locked tight. Calling out to his animal companion, Tuskcutter, Erd got it to smash through the obstacle (OH YEAH!) and rush in to aid the trapped council members. Erd and Tuskcutter quickly moved to engage more elven rangers that rained arrows upon the poor boar as Erd quickly took cover with Obscuring Mists and started summoning more of nature's reinforcements.
Back on the second floor, Lucilia had managed to critically cut down a vampire thrall as Eric tried to engage the halfling and ranger. Unfortunately, Eric succumed to the halfling's Hold Person spell as Lucilia vailantly held the line to protect the (almost) helpless dwarf (all while the frustrated halfling tried to use the same spell against Lucilia which would of course be futile due to Lucilia being an outsider type being). Lucilia eventually managed to cut down the annoying halfling after taking care of the ranger that wanted to take out the vulnerable Eric. At the restroom area, Akiros managed to smite and critically cut down the vampire that struck Seren as he dealt the finishing blow to the ranger with the aid of Seren's inspire courage. Akiros and Seren quickly patched up themselves before they fled through the Villa, only to run into the mastermind behind this ambush... Lady Veronica Fa Vital! Akrios then grabbed Seren's arm and suggested they fled immediately, but Seren knew that Veronica was a threat that needed to be dealt with now despite their bad situation and pleaded with Akiros to fight the vampiress. Akiros agreed that the evil woman should be slain for the good of the kingdom (and the world) and bravely charged in to engage Veronica. But Veronica was no mere evil vampire, she was a capable terror of the night that still struck and DRAINED Akiros' vitality DESPITE BEING SMITED UPON and almost (broke the cutie) made Seren into her personal plaything as the Baroness writhed in anguish from the horrors of what Veronica will force her to do should she be successfully dominated!
Soon, after a hard fight, the minions of Veronica were slain with Tuskcutter almost killed. The remaining council members then joined up to the almost about to collapse Akiros and half broken Seren before Veronica could kill or dominate the 2. Realising that her minions were all slain and the numbers were going against her now, Veronica then changed into a gaseous form and easily escaped, also bringing along with her the slain vampire minions and halfling butler (who all also turned into gas form). "This isn't over mortals! I'll be back one day to stalk you in the night! And when I return, you all shall be my playthings before your kingdom be painted red with your blood! HAHAHAHA!" - Veronica Fa VitalThe Inner council members were relieved for managing to survive yet another deadly encounter as they patched up the guests that were almost drained/sucked out of their blood including rescuing Big "Mama". Of course Big "Mama" was delighted to be brought back from the brink of death and claimed that she could probably find no way to fully repay Guildor for saving her life as she also apologized for not observing Veronica Fa Vital's suspicous evil motives earlier. To show her gratitude, she "donated" a nice sum to our economy and hosted a wild Calistrian party that we were free to join in as much as we could everyday until her stay was over! PARTY TIME! Unfortnately, the Inner Council's minds could not fully be at peace for there is now another threat on the loose that could return one day to haunt them... Notable events/achivements:- Paula's critical count. Total critical count: 10. Total fumble count: 6.
