Dawn
- Found several party members secretly drunk some green liquor in the night and became very drunk.
- Elphaba the Dwarf Warpriest entered the campsite and had an argument about killing evil people to steal the money. The party finally decided to accept her after seeing a letter of introduction from Susan
- Explored Forest, Met some Crying Kobold eating the Moonradishes. Found out that the Kobold were chased away and maybe bullied by the Kobold Shaman. Agreed to help them <Gained 25 XP for Exploring>

Dusk
- Decided to travel back to Olag at night and met 3 Tatz Worm... where one was were oddly intelligent. The intelligent one saw the head of the beheaded Tatz Worm and claimed to be his brother, and the other two were their parents.
- Decided to head to the Faerie Court

In the Faerie Court
Accused: Party members for killing Deep-of-Tooth
Accuser: Long-of-Tail and his parents
First Judge: Terlishvash the Faerie Dragon who attempts to find who was in the wrong, but failed
Second Judge: Lady Tyg-Titter-Tut the Grig was summoned to find out who was in the wrong.
- After several talks to no conclusion, Witness were summoned
1st Witness: Dragonfly creatures claimed we were murderer
2nd Witness: Wolf pack claimed Deep-of-Tooth were at first unruly against our dragon sorcereress.
3rd Witness: Party Horse agreed to Wolf pack claims
Final Ruling: Beheading and keeping a Tatz Worm head was barbaric, but the party members were provoked.
- Head and Scales of Deep-of-Tooth was returned to his family. 
- Potion of Cure Light Wound and Dwarven Ale was given to the Fae Folk as Court Fees

Noon
- Looted the corpses of the bandits, skinned the wolf and captured the Cleric of Abada (Check New Loot List Below)
- Returned to Olag Trading Post
> Completed Quest: Hunt of the Moon Radish. Reward 250 GP + Moon Radish (Moon Radish had a mother of pearl sheen) Soup.
> Incomplete Quest: Trophy of a Tatz Worm Head. Quest cancelled by owner after persuasion by our good paladin
- Turned in the Cleric for a bounty of 20 GP to Kesten Garess
- Sold a portion of the following Loot for 1405 GP to be collected during next visit(Check Sold Bandit Loot List Below)
- Slept for the Night at Olag, waking to the horrors of the two children. We really should lock the door and block it from this day forth

Feb 9th
- Arrived at nearby plains and explored it. Uneventful <Gained 25 XP for Exploring>
- Set up camp and it was also Uneventful. Ate Rations. Ration Left: 15 Days

Feb 10th
- Arrived at hills near evening and set up camp. Uneventful
CY gathered some food for the party and found sufficient Ration Left: 15 Days

Feb 11th
Dawn
- Explored the hills. <Gained 25 XP for Exploring>
- Found the lightning strike barren tree that looked like a claw. Looked very like the spot on the treasure map. Dig the roots to find some treasures (Check New Loot List Below)

Dusk
- Set camp and during second shift, a TROLL appeared. It was a bloody battle that everyone was nearly downed. The party won, obviously or this log would be written in trollish... or maybe eaten. (400 XP)

Feb 11th
Dawn
- Started traveling to the next area to explore when we met some Mites! They seem to hate the dwarf very much.
- Everyone seemed to get the curse of the Archie... Clumsy attack one after another, from the paladin to the monk to the alchemist. The warpriest was mostly unaffected, if not for her dazzled state. There was even a great fumble showing the power of the paladin when his bastard sword actually flew 45 feet when it slip out of his hand! To cut things short, a few (actually, 80%) misjudged aim by the alchemist bombs actually saved the day (200 XP)
- After Battle. Interrogated the Mites, found out they are hiding some treasures and were battling with the Kobolds we were agreed to help.

Episode 10

13th Feb - Afternoon

The Ranger took the whiptail centipede whip to cure it.
Moving on, negotiated with Chief Scribble and sued for peace!
However: Elder Mite appears! Disagree with peacemaking process
Battle Begin! Terrible fight occur
In the end, Elder Mite Escape

As reward, Chief Scribbe gives us the following things:

In the fight, as Aely the wizard was poisoned the party decided to bring the rescued and the wizard back to Olag Trading Post. Food were foraged, but it was insufficient for the ever hungry kobolds

Episode 12
19 Feb - Dusk

Continued from the last location after meeting Mit-Mit.
Mit-Mit led us to their Kobold caven while it went off straight into the cave.

Found a Mite locked in a small cage, gave it some water and covered it from sunlight.
Couldn't get any info out from it while it broke free and went off into the grass. (We couldn't care less..)

Went into the cave. Found a +1 Adamantine heavy pick in a open pit trap. 
Mit-Mit voice calls out to us to enter deeper into the dark cave.
While turning into a curve path, suddenly a darkness spell elopes us and we were swept down into a huge caven by foamy water..
As the darkness spell disperse, we were surrounded by hordes of Kobold...
We brace ourselves only to find a surprise party was held for us.. 
The kobold chief thanks us for bringing the statue back. 
We got info from the chief that the Tar Tuk shaman came out of the blue 1 year ago and things started to get weird and messy.

Encountered the Tar Tuk Shaman and had a Story combat battle. 
Abhi vs Tar Tuk. While we supported with our magics and attacks, we win without beating a sweat.

The shaman escaped and we couldn't catch him as it disappeared into the secret escape tunnel. (found out it cast invis on itself) 

Found his journal that he was actually not a kobold but a nom?
Found Lena's ring in the loot - (completed the quest by returning it to Lena when we headed back to the post.)
 
Slept the night thanks to the kobold's hospitality.


Feb 20 - Dawn
Traveled straight back to Oleg's trading post to deposit loot and return the ring.

-Some time in the Afternoon-
Encountered 2 owl bear on our way, slain them both and the ranger skinned their fur.. 100gp 
Found 15gp and an Owl bear's egg which hatched and became Mort's companion. 

Feb 21 - Dawn

Reached Oleg's trading post. 
New quest was found on the bounty board. - Wanted Dead or Alive Stag lord bandit. - Reward 5k gp

Mort’s take on Kingdom Building (Part I)

Kingmaker Roles:
Ruler – Cha
Bonus: Add Cha mod to kingdom stat of choice (Economy, Stability or Loyalty)
Vacancy Penalty– Urmm…this is Kingmaker, no King = No country? (aka, don’t think about it)

Councilor – Cha/Wis (Andy/CY)
Bonus: Add Cha/Wis mod to Loyalty
Vacancy Penalty– Loyalty decreases by 2, kingdom gains no benefits from Holiday edict, unrest increases by 1

General – Str/Cha (Sau Yan)
Bonus: Add Cha/Str mod to Stability
Vacancy Penalty - Loyalty decreases by 4

Grand Diplomat – Int/Cha (Alphonsusi)
Bonus: Add Cha/Int mod to Stability
Vacancy Penalty - Stability decreases by 2, no exploration edict(aka, cannot expand kingdom except for already explored squares)

High Priest – Wis/Cha (Andy/CY)
Bonus: Add Cha/Wis mod to Stability
Vacancy Penalty - Stability and loyalty decrease by 2, unrest increases by 1

Magister – Int/Cha (Alphonsus)
Bonus: Add Cha/Int mods to Economy
Vacancy Penalty – Economy decreases by 4

About the Kingdom

A Kingdom has 3 stats – Economy, Stability and Loyalty.

Economy is the most essential at the start (think all your empire building days – utopia if anyone has played before), followed by Stability, then Loyalty.
Stability checks are rolled most often.

Edicts

Types of Edicts – Holiday, Promotion and Improvement edicts. We shall not look at taxation edicts as
Singaporeans get enough taxes as it is. We shall have lots of Parties (Holidays!) and Promotions! Essentially, Improvement edicts are to build your new buildings, Parties = (trade off consumption for more Loyalty), and Promotions = (Trade off consumption for Stability)

Based on the above:

Most impt roles (my opinion – feel free to discuss):
Ruler, Warden, High Priest, Treasurer, Spymaster, Councilor

Due to the fact that the penalties for having vacant positions are kinda harsh, and I have not read anything about replacing NPCs(except for the ruler), with better people for the job, I suggest we take a look at NPCs for Leadership Roles, we can always replace them later?? (Sean, feel free to correct me on that score, I am just looking at what Ultimate campaign says)

Possible NPCs to rope in for Kingdom building:

Chief Sootscale/Mik Mik – Spymaster/Marshal. Somehow I think spymaster suits kobolds better, they are generally lawful, and like telling stories. Well in a big city, they get to be part of the stories going around, and can tell us about it, all day long.

Yoleg(may have misspelt)- Councilor (If she’s been running the trading post, she should know how to be the voice of the people, as what the councilor post is described as)

Mites – Treasurer. Bestiary stats state that Mites have better then average wis. If so, and their light sensitivity prevents them from going out in the day, then it should be fine with them in the treasury counting pennies. Also, with a kobold representative, the mites may feel slighted if we do not offer them similar powers in our new kingdom.

Hips (may have misspelt) – Marshal/General/Warden. If he’s a reformed bandit, I expect him to have moderately decent physical stats. Due to the massive number of Stability checks the Warden has to roll, I would prefer a PC on Warden if possible.

You can customize your race as long as your back story supports it.

Using a human samurai as an example, your back story would have to include how you happen to gain the darkvision racial trait.
This means there is more then 1 way to purchase some racial traits.


Example 1, Underground Human
You belong to a group of samurai that were given the task to defend the darklands below your warlord's lands from darkland invaders. Your ancestors moved underground and founded a city below ground. Over many generations, your people gain darkvision as a survival trait.

+Darkvision racial trait from the ARG is 2 RP. Therefore Human 9 RP + Darkvision 2 RP = 11 RP. 35 CP - 11 RP = 24 point buy for your character.


Example 2, Celestial ancestry
Your family is said to be founded by an archon, who descended from heaven to fight against dark forces. You are human, but have a touch of celestial blood. However it is so distant, that you are more human then aasimar. Your darkvision is gained from the outsider blood flowing through your veins.

+Race Subtype (Outsider native) from ARG is 3 RP. Therefore Human 9 RP + Outsider subtype 3 RP = 12 RP. 35 CP - 12 RP = 23 point buy for your character.


Both examples have darkvision, but their backstories determine how they gain such a racial trait.

Remember that it is a RACE modification. Meaning there will likely be others just like you.

Find a temple with stag statue. Killed a dire bear. Bear was actually a druid of Erastil who tried to defend the temple by sacrificing animals. Erastil, none to pleased, transformed him into the dire bear. Pool of cure light wounds.

Breeg Vinchi is the hunter in this region. He set a lot of bear traps around here.

Head towards the start of Thorn River.

Saw a dead body - Breeg. Killed by animal bite - Likely a Faerie Dragon. Bonfire time!
