Many weeks have passed since the Heroes of the Fifth Crusade have set off for the Abyss. What is mentioned here is an extremely short account of what has transpired in the Abyss. Thinking that the Ivory Labyrinth is a normal maze, the dwarf Six Shadowstone and Emrys were caught completely off-guard when they spent weeks wandering the world-size maze.
Without sufficient food and no known means to return back to the Prime Material Plane and back to the same spot in the Ivory Labyrinth again, the heroes were forced to starve, with the exception of Kira Rin & Lazencia who were magically equipped to deal with mundane things, like starvation. Were it not for Kira Rin's idea to house the party in the Mage's magnificent mansion does the party actually realised that the mansion itself comes with a nine course banquet suitable for 200 people.
More endless wandering leads the party to Blackburgh, a tangled densely packed city of wooden & stone buildings. Facades drooping & caked with slime & soot, the air itself reeking of slime and decay and the streets are always damp with blood & ichor. It was here that they were approached by the mythic vescavor swarm, Verbovezzor.
Hurling verbal abuse at the heroes, it tried to understand what threatened Baphomet so and with the party walking the streets of Blackburgh unmolested, it finally realised that the party is a mighty band of heroes and that it remained content to observe and not interfere with the clashing of such epic beings. Sharing some information, the swarm divulged to the party that the Ineluctable Prison houses Baphomet's personal prisoners but it also knows that none who enter the edifice have ever emerged with the only exceptions of Baphomet & the prison's warden. Even entering the prison is said to be nearly impossible. A way of entry into the Ineluctable Prison is to procure the blood of the Father of Worms, a powerful being whose blood is said to be so acidic that it can burn Mount Celestial itself should it ever be brought up to it. "Good luck trying to find a vessel to hold the blood", it chortled as the party departed.
Encountering another demon who wished to talk to the party, they were escorted to the mythical nalfeshnee, Orengofta. Wielding a sword of pure gold, Orengofta proposed that it can bring the party into the Ineluctable Prison but on the condition that they are to enter it as its prisoners. The party smuggled a bag of holding containing their most vital items into the prison & managed to break out of their holding cell with minimal difficulty. The demodand guards proved no match for the mythic heroes of Golarion.
Wandering deeper into the maze, they found Waxberry, an Iomedaen halfling cleric who was captured along with the Herald and told of the horrible tortures the Herald was forced to endure which culminated with the removal of his heart and the complete transformation into a Herald of Darkness. Believing that the Heart can be used to bring the Herald back to the side of good, Waxberry followed the heroes and eventually stumbled onto the Vault containing the Herald's heart. Waxberry also mentioned of the prison's warden, a 12-armed, 2-headed demonic snake woman's name is Ylleshka and it was she who brought Waxberry and the Herald of Iomedae into the Ineluctable Prison. Also, in the prison is the name "Alderpash" and that this person is a fellow prisoner, yet one whom the guards fear - perhaps the only prisoner the guards regard in such a manner. Perhaps seeking out Alderpash could be a wise plan, for certainly if a fellow prisoner frightens demons and demodands, he or she must be a strong ally to have in a place like this?
Suurlahetas, an imprisoned immolation devil promised information in return for his release. With Emrys' word as a paladin of Iomedae, Suurlahetas conveyed the following information. 5 keys are needed to access the most secure room in the prison and the keys are used to unlock a teleportation circle found at the Groaning Gates. 3 of the keys are held by the prison's warden, but of the other 2, he have no idea.
Further into the journey, they stumbled onto a torture chamber in which a shaggy demodand escaped with her life via a teleportation circle. With Kira Rin's attunement to all things magical, she realised that with some magical alterations, she can actually improve on the pre-existing teleportation circle and actually am able to follow the shaggy demodand to the location which she teleported into.

After resting in a secured room within the Ineluctable Prison, Six Shadowstone - Hero of the Universe, stands over party and speaks.
"My friends! We have been in this maze far too long. Our minds have been clouded with forgetfulness and we find ourselves directionless! But we have been lucky to have rested for now and our minds are feeling better! It is time to focus ourselves to our task at hand!
First we shall seek useful allies. We will find and free this Alderpash if possible. Then we'll make our way to the Herald and restore him to Holiness if we can. And finally, we shall call out to Baphomet and kill him!"

After resting for an hour to recuperate their energies, the Heroes of the Fifth Crusade once again plunged into trouble when Rin activated the teleportation circle and which threads were used in order to follow the foul creature which escaped the party in the last encounter.
Alas, she is not alone and as soon as the party reached the other side, they are beset by the shaggy demodand wielding an adamantine warhammer, a powerful drow cleric and a handful of tarry demodands.
An intense combat follows, in which Rin is relentlessly grappled by a crushing hand, Six's guns proved futile in the drow cleric's antitech field while Emrys was disarmed easily by the tarry demodands. Things turned to desperation as Emrys resorted to punching the drow cleric and Rin spent all her effort escaping the crushing hand. Six avoided combat with the shaggy demodand as she stayed in the antitech field consistently whilst throwing a meteor swarm and a delayed blast fireball. Rin could not escape the effects much and when the delayed blast fireball came into effect, she immediately raised an emergency force sphere, but not before dispelling the antitech field with a greater dispel magic a round earlier.
Six dodged and let loose with his Shadowstone pistol, a +2 holy double-barrel pistol passed by from his ancestors. Sensing her doom is near, the shaggy demodand, Plorig-Stagul resolved to take at least a hero down before she dies and with a single strike, crushed the skull of Rin. Newcomer to the Fifth Crusade and a mythical wizard in her own right, she perished at the hands of the foul demodand.
Dispatching the rest of the enemies with flair and causing the tarry demodands to flee with his mythical aura, the duo, Emrys and Six carried the body of Rin onto the continuation of the hunt for the Herald of the Ivory Labyrinth.
Encountering the next room, 4 stringy demodands converged and grappled Emrys. Six whilst outside the room with Rin's body shut the door on Emrys as he was grappled. Knowing full well that he is defenseless if the Shadowstone pistol is shattered, Six wanted Emrys to flee the combat as he finally felt the pressure of being in the Abyss. All alone, in a world full of enemies, desperation threatened to overwhelm his senses. "Flee! It is hopeless! Without your beloved guns, you WILL DIE!" Fully convinced of his helplessness, Six did not contribute much to the fight and fortunately, as Emrys once again demonstrated that the faith in Iomedae is strong, he unleashed his mythical aura once again, causing most of the stringy demodands to flee.
In the room itself is a magical symbol inscribed on the floor and as the duo approaches the symbol, a fusillade of rays hit Emrys and Six causing them to gain 3 negative levels each. A column of smoke arises from the massive 20' by 20' symbol and within the column of smoke is a single fanged mouth uttering the words "Alderpash!" over and over again. All attempts at communications failed miserably and it is here that the party decided to rest and wait for the rest of the Heroes to catch up in order to find out what the symbol can possibly be.
On the body of the drow cleric and the shaggy demodand, they found 2 keys needed to unlock the teleportation circle to the Herald of the Ivory Labyrinth. One of the keys seemed to give the feeling of licking the palm of whomever is holding it at the moment, as if an enthusiastic puppy is licking food of its owner's palm.

...and wait for the rest of the Heroes to catch up in order to find out what the symbol can possibly be... And at that precise moment, 5 shots were fired and all the bullets hit precisely onto the same spot on the narrator's skull, blowing up his head and his brain matter was everywhere. "Fool! I did not leave my best bro in the world, Emrys alone! I did return to combat to save him from the one remaining demodand who was about to slit my bro's throat. I'm a Hero!"

Lazencia, knowing how to instinctively unbind the prison unravelled the magic binding Igramalash, the very first inverted rune giant. Igramalash, trapped for thousands of years lashed out at Emrys, tearing him apart. Death was instantaneous. The combined efforts of Laurentius, Lazencia and Six managed to put an end to its rampage.
Ylleshka, the 12-armed, twin headed marilith teleported into the chamber as it sensed that its wards were released. Seeing the party in its present state, it commenced its attack on the surviving party members with its multiple mithral swords parrying many of Six's bullets. Lazencia tried as she might could not manage to get a hit in as the marilith's defenses are so closely woven that it seems as if she is attacking a steel wall, even with her dancing longsword by her side. Eventually, she managed to get a greater command off, commanding Ylleshka to drop her weapons. Ylleshka obeyed, submitting to Lazencia's indomitable will which allows Six and herself to close in and dispatch her with ease as she is no longer armed, thus resulting in a quick demise. Retrieving the warden keys from her, the party now have 5 keys needed to unlock the teleportation circle leading to the Herald of the Ivory Labyrinth.
Along the way, the Heroes of the Fifth Crusade rescued some prisoners of the Third Crusade. According to Lazencia, this is a problem of relativity and thus the prisoners of the Third Crusade does not age as quickly as the people on the Prime Material Plane. The paladins were extremely grateful to be rescued and two of the prisoners are obviously highly trained killers. Laurentius immediately offered them a contract for work in Drezen. Whether the killers accepted or not, is a story for another time.
Moving on to Alderpash, they found the Runelord of Wrath sitting in a throne room, all alone, with a magical laboratory and a whole slew of books within the chamber itself. They attempted to get information from him in return for freeing him. Puny magics like an antimagic field will not work on a binding cast by Baphomet himself and Alderpash suggested a mage's disjunction. Alderpash could not cast it as his Thassilonian magics prevent him from casting abjuration & conjuration magics. Even the mighty Kira Rin does not have access to such powerful magics and the party agrees to free him the only way they know how to. By killing the demon lord, Baphomet on its home plane. Before leaving the prison, Alderpash warned that to confront the Herald directly without taking care of its 4 guardians is a foolhardy venture. The remaining creature alive is Inger-Maggor, the Ivory Hunter. Keeper of Baphomet's Hounds and Alderpash knows the location of one such creature, the tarn linnorm Uffrandir.
After a quick fight in which both Uffrandir and Inger-Maggor dies, the party eventually made its way to the Groaning Gates and teleported into the heart of the Ineluctable Prison to confront the Herald of the Ivory Labyrinth. Focusing their intense firepower on the Herald, it eventually succumbed to its injuries and the party failed to redeem Iomedae's herald. With the walls of the prison trembling and an unearthly roar tearing through the halls, Baphomet appears and immediately summons three balors in quick succession. Lazencia unleashes her mythic presence causing the balors to flee in panic, for even the mightiest demons will do well not to tangle with a mythical hero. Baphomet alone could have killed the heroes individually but fighting them all at once proves to be even too much for such a mighty demon and with a fatal coup de grace from Lazencia, Baphomet perishes, bringing down with it the Ivory Labyrinth as well as the Ineluctable Prison.
Exiting the Abyssal plane of the Ineluctable Prison, Iomedae appeared in a vision with the party and granted the party various boons and with the death of her herald, she now officially proclaims Emrys as her temporary Herald.
Appearing back at Drezen, the fires of war is once again lighted up as Deskari, the Locust Host feels extremely threatened by the destruction of its ally, the demon lord Baphomet and is thus amassing a significant force against the border cities, including Drezen. Will the other demon lords rally behind Deskari's banner or will the Rasping Rifts be closed, thus closing the Worldwound and removing Abyssal influence from Golarion permanently?

When Emrys returns to Drezen he finds a new cult has taken root — the cult of Emrys! Teenaged girls have shaved their heads to emulate him and scream when they see him. They clutch suspiciously dildo-shaped replicas of a pistol and chant incessantly about the holy gun. “No, this is wrong!” he cries, “you should venerate only Iomedae; I am just a servant.” But they won’t hear reason and hound him like a rock star. When he takes to the air with his majestic angelic wings to avoid them pawing his fabulous Robe of Scintillating Colours they swoon and scream all the more.

Yes dear readers, the Anfernator - the pride of our Order is still with us, fighting the good fight! Our heroes were eventually rewarded when they found an ancient ruin, and equipped themselves with advanced weapons, wondrous devices and cool sunglasses. 23rd Pharast AR 4714
A long downtime in which the Heroes of the Fifth Crusade went off on their own ways to fulfil their hearts desire. A much deserved break from the endless battles which they have to face in order to maintain security in Drezen.
A desperate battle happened on the 21st Pharast in which the Heroes of the Fifth Crusade split up to handle multiple enemies coming in from all directions and which the mythical half-demonic dwarven gunslinger, Six Shadowstone was annihilated from the face of Golarion, and indeed possibly the face of the universe. Such is the awesome destructive power of one as mighty as a sphere of annihilation.
A soldier came to the heroes as they were mopping up the powerful foes which besieged them. "A portal to the Abyss have opened in the basement! At any moment now, demons will pour forth from the portal! Please, you must hurry!" Leading the way, Emrys the planetar, paladin & the Herald of Iomedae tore a path through the meagre resistance offered by the demonic invaders and eventually rescued a corrupted phoenix, Pyralisia, also known as the Rain of Embers.
Unbeknownst to the party, Venture-Captain Anferno, Hellknight Inquisitor of the Order of the Gate, Captain of the Black Fang was secretly shadowing the party. He was rescued by Venino der Flinke who believed firmly in Anferno, although Anferno was dodgy most of the time, especially in Galt, which saw the Pathfinder Lodge attacked. An audience with Queen Galfrey quickly set Anferno to the city of Drezen in which his arrival assisted the defense of Drezen in many ways.
In a desperate battle which almost saw Aponavicius, the dreaded marilith almost tearing both Lazencia and Laurentius to shreds, Emrys called upon the holy power of Iomedae to infuse his guns with sacred might. The subsequent bullets fired into Aponavicius tore massive holes in her body but she knew that she must not surrender or flee. To flee now would mean eternal torment to the Lord of the Locust Host, Deskari himself. She finally succumbed to Anferno's blows as she was beset on all sides by the Heroes of the Fifth Crusade.
With General Aponvacius dead, the remaining demons fled back to the heart of the Worldwound as being chaotic demons, they have no discipline to remain as a cohesive fighting force when the general is dead. If the demons are the devilish army, perhaps, Drezen will be in ruins now but they are not. Cheering victoriously, the survivors (consisting of multitudinous allies, ranging from the 13 Black Powder knights, the paladins of Iomedae, the various faiths, the skilled killers under Laurentius' employ, and the followers of Vysanthe and last, but certainly not the least, the Zerg forces hidden deep beneath Drezen) rallied and with one final push, drove the demons from the walls of Drezen itself. Will this be the last time Drezen would ever be attacked by the demonic hordes? The fate of Drezen, and perhaps, the whole of Avistan lies in the hands of the few unlikely heroes.
Kira Rin tried to establish a portal to the Nine Hells and finally succeeded in establishing one leading to Avernus, the First Layer. Rest of the party acted up and being forced to close her own portal, a note was snatched from the hands of Kira Rin by Laurentius. It reads:
Dear Kira Rin,
Your closure of the portal is deemed a breach of contract. Your immortal soul is now mine.
Love, Mephisto
Knowing that Mephisto is one of the Lords of Hell, the party is unfazed at this feeble threat, as they have faced multiple demon lords and walked out alive, namely, the slaying of Baphomet, and the negotiation with Nocticula.
Anferno begins to send charges to Emrys and Kira Rin for multiple violations of the orders of Cheliax, even though Drezen is extremely far from Cheliax.
----------
The night after the battle, Emrys, Herald of Iomedae received a powerful vision. "The end of days is fast approaching." The Heroes string of successes against the Worldwound have finally forced Deskari's hand and he intends to rip the wound open and engulf much of Avistan in the Rasping Rifts. The Lord of the Locust Host no longer desires the constant steady stream of anguish and despair the long-lasting crusade has supplied him with. He is ready to finish what he started, and his greatest champion, Areelu Vorlesh is even now preparing to final ritual to finish the job she started over a century ago.
Only one option remains. The Heroes must venture into the heart of the Worldwound and heal the rift at its source. Such an action is fraught with danger and in the hands of ordinary heroes, it is nigh impossible, but the epic mythical Heroes of the Fifth Crusade have amassed more personal power than any other personages in history, barring the humans who ascended as deities now. If they cannot accomplish this task, the world will be doomed. The source is shrouded in mystery and even the most powerful spells cannot penetrate the protective barrier surrounding it. The wound itself has reality distorted between Golarion and the Abyss itself and what is seen cannot be trusted. Iomedae sadly reminded Emrys that even in such desperate times, it is not the place of the divine to interfere and thus, the Heroes must seek their own solution to the problem. (In mortal words, the Gods proclaim: "NOT MY PROBLEM!" in a most uniquely Chelaxian slang) The solution can only lie in the pages of the Lexicon of Paradox. A book which the Heroes are familiar with as they have used it to close a minor portal, leading to the Midnight Isles, domain of Nocticula.
Queen Galfrey teleported in the next day, wearing a grave & exhausted look on her face. She too received the same vision as Emrys and closing the Worldwound at its source within the tower known as Threshold is a much more dangerous and involved task as compared to the minor portal to the Midnight Isles. Of course, being Heroes, they can attempt to storm Threshold immediately and there are a few things they will need to do. First, multiple dimensional locks needed to be place within the prison tower of Threshold, on both sides of the Worldwound. These dimensional locks acts as explosive charges in key architectural locations. They will resonate with the ritual itself & magnify it as needed to finish the job. Unfortunately, no mere casting of symbol of sealing will do. This casting must be made with the use of a special focus. A Nahyndrian chisel used by the Storm King to destroy the Kenabres wardstone.
Galfrey suggested 3 tasks for the Heroes to do to help ease the tremendous amount of effort needed for the task. Firstly, to obtain the Nahyndrian chisel from an old Sarkorian brothel known as the Yearning House. The artifact lies in the hands of the leader of the Deskari cult, a mysterious lady known as Mistress Anemora. What sort of place the demons have turned the place into, nobody knows.
Secondly, to secure something called a "Suture". Nothing is known about this except that whatever it is, was created when the Worldwound opened & that its presence at the original portal greatly increases the ease of closing it. The Suture is kept by a half-babau dwarf known as the Filleted Man. At the Soul Foundry, lead is alloyed with captured souls to create an unusual & unstable material known as soul-lead, one of many vile materials used in the creation of Abyssal constructs like retrievers, warmonger wasps & devastators.
Lastly, attempts to confront Khorramzadeh the Storm King in the palace at the heart of Iz is suicidal. By accomplishing the above 2 objectives, Queen Galfrey is confident that he will appear personally to take care of the Heroes or risk Deskari's wrath. Be warned, however, that the Heroes have mere seconds to prepare before Khorramzadeh will teleport in.
With these words and a quick briefing, the party teleported to the Yearning House in Iz. 100' above them, there lies millions and millions of swarms of locusts, and any who sought to fly above 100' will quickly be consumed alive as the swarms will pounce on any who flies that high. With a quick glance at each other, the Heroes (including Anferno, now a mythical champion) strode into the courtyard of the Yearning House. The first step, in closing the Worldwound.

Emrys thanks the comedy goffboy for his advice and politely informs him the offer of loan of the Seraphic Pistol is now rescinded. Through gritted teeth he goes on to point out that his mandate is from Queen Gallifrey and Iomedae herself and that he's not prepared to take any crap from sheriff tinman. His own friendly advice for Herman Munster is that he kill a few more demons before he opens his dumb mouth again.

Kira Rin laugh at the remark made by the new ignorant kid in town.
Reminding him that she was present in front of Iomedae when Ermys was being "knight" Herald of Iomedae.
Proving that Iomedea accept the fact that sometime, some evil is necessary to battle greater evil. If not, at least Kira Rin was accepted for unknown reason.
Moreover, Rin is doing all this base on her friendship with Lazencia & Ermys(if Ermys acknowledge any). Our simple & confused new friend here simply CANNOT afford to pay for her service at all.
But since he already made his move by putting "unnecessary charges" on the kind lady here, might as well remind him to make PAYMENT BEFORE EMBARK on the journey. Rin suddenly don't feel like making a non profit business today.
Rin's Services (with heavy discount) Spell per casting -- 50,000 gold piece for level 1( increase by 10,000 gp per lvl)
Consultant fee -- 50,000 gold piece per 30min
Off field mission -- 30,000 gold piece per day
On field mission -- 60,000 gold piece per day
Shutting the god damn place down with dimension lock -- 60,000 gold piece each cast.
MISC -- 100,000 gold piece each time
"Do some math and get ready your money before knocking on the door of Arcanium.
My services aren't cheap and I got better thing to do than saving this god damn world if not for my friends.
Make your payment quick before we leave here too! No $$$ no talk! "
Rin gave Anferno a sneered look as she glide her way past.
Her compassionate heart felt for the soon-to-be bankrupt dude, making Rin turn around and say," If the party is unfazed by Mephisto, the Lord of hell, think again where (Rin smiling broadly at him) are you pointing your threat at. It might cost you unnecessary debt and death." As Rin inform Mai her intention, who already has an army of lawyers ready, working overnight behind the scene, getting ready & making sure to "correct" the wrong and earning their keep, if situation arise.
As Rin begin making her way past to Anferno, she whispered gently into his ear, " Last but not least, I need NO ONE approval and take NO order from anyone. I will open hole(portal) wherever I need, whenever I want. If need be, I will open one ON you. So don't make things too difficult for both of us."
Giving Anferno the sweet one eye wink, swing her hair which brushes across his face, Rin moved to the back of the party, filing her nails, checking her make-up, whistling away while waiting for Arcanium to give her the notice for the payment of (400,000 gold pieces estimated) to be credited to her bank account from the poor bastard(Mr Anferno) before the moving forward with the mission.
