Hi, Starting this thread for everyone to post and discuss, a list of useful tips and tricks, like useful items or creative use of items for adventuring. List of tips (updated from below): 1) Alchemical Grease - Gives +5 alchemical bonus on Escape Artist checks, on combat manoeuvre checks made to escape a grapple, and to your CMD to avoid being grappled; this lasts 4 hours or until you wash it off. And since it does not burn (no where in description say it is flammable.), feel free to lube your characters up before going into the dungeon, where black tentacles may sprout up. 2) Masterwork Tools (+2 to any skill) - Many people do miss out on these. Always useful to have.

Masterwork tools (+2 to any skill)
The ultimate in player customisation. Need Nike airs for those +2 to jump and acrobatics? Medieval camo cream for +2 to stealth? or Men are from the Prime Material and Women are from the Abyss...for that +2 to Sense Mo...Every adventurer should have one...especially monks with Snake Style!

Just a couple of essentials for neophyte rogues: - Traps are much easier to spot and disarm once they've been been sprung. So always let the fighter go first.
- When you strike from the shadows, timing is critical. Make sure victory is already assured before you blow your stealth.
- The front and back of the party are generally well covered, so it's up to you to fearlessly guard the middle.

Ok, some genuine advice from recent experience: - Big monsters can have a big CMD; don't assume you can happily tumble between their legs. Even in fancy boots.
- If a friendly cleric is running Shield Other on you at the time, this will be the last time you'll ever receive Shield Other.
- It could take many cookies before the cleric is friendly again.
- Shield Other is a serious commitment that should neither be entered frivolously or squandered.
- Having said this, it's a lot of fun to run through traps when you're buffed with Shield Other.
- Don't cast Shield Other on an irresponsible rogue who has more HP than you.

Im glad you realized that...*irritated Lemur cleric who is probably NOT going to use shield other again*
Once bitten, twice shy. Nuff said.
I don't want it written on my tombstone "She died shielding a rogue from his mistakes".

Read through the [on how to become a better player] entirely and liked it!
Read through the [what to expect at a PFS table] and suggest anyone reading to replace the words "I expect you" to "It is recommended that you can", for a better taste of the post.
