Ever since Cheliax cut all ties with the Pathfinder Society, Anfernal had more or less left the Society to fully focus on building the Order of the Black Powder, with his 2nd in command - Shel Kazer.

Receiving funds from House Kazer and other resources from allies such as his brother Anferno, the Black Powder had constructed their academy on the mysterious island in an undisclosed location.

Recently, the Black Powder had established their influence in Neroysan when Anfernal himself led a contingent of guntanks to stop the tide of demon hordes.

And in the 5th crusade in the Worldwound, the Black Powder sent a small army led by Shel Kazer, who had recruited a superstar gunslinger known as Six Shadowstone, to put an end to the invasion and close the rift for good.

Today Anfernal finds himself in Alkenstar. His goal? To foster good relationship between the Black Powder and the dwarven masters of firearms and invention.
