SUMMARY
Venture-Captain Alissa Moldreserva, a fiery Galtan Pathfinder, assigns the rescue of Lady Anilah to the Pathfinders. She sends them to the Second Chance, a dockside grit den in the Puddles, to find a one-eyed Andoren junky named Fredrik. Upon arrival, the Pathfinders find themselves immersed in a full-on brawl, started by thugs hired by the Grand Ambassador himself. Salhar wasn't confident in the Society's ability to find his wife and employed others to do the same. Once rescued, Fredrik reveals that he sold the Grand Ambassador's wife to Pardu Pildapush, aa Vudrani slaver.
Once the Pathfinders track down Pildapush at his office in Misery Row, also called the Slave Pits of Absalom, they force the wily flesh merchant to admit he sold Lady Salhar to a gnoll slaver, the captain of the Katapeshi galley No Return. The Pathfinders then must locate the No Return on Absalom's busy docks, but before they can board her, they fend off a dockside ambush by the Puddlejumpers, a halfling knifer gang working for Pildapush. Once the knifers are down, the Pathfinders board the No Return and fight her crew and the ship's gnoll foreman, Snarl Sorehackle.
After battling through the sailors above decks, the party moves below to challenge the slave galley's gnoll captain, Gnarl Bonegather and free Lady Salhar from enslavement.

Pathfinders:
Lv 4 Human Rogue - Nikolai Kuznetsov
Lv 2 Aasimar Oracle - Zuril
Lv 4 Tiefling Inquisitor - Anferno
Lv 5 Human Hexcrafter - Kalara
Lv 5 Human Barbarian Fighter - Theodore "Real Man" Rohan
Lv 1 Human Urban Barbarian - Tassadar Zokan
Actions of note:
-Tassadar, the Table Slayer: Slew a poor defenseless table with his greatsword as the party opened the door into the Second Chance where a full-on brawl was taking place. Table was caught flat-footed, hence unable to AoO Tassadar.
-Tassadar, the Battler. Batted the owner of the Second Chance into unconsciousness with a single, heavy blow with the flat of his blade to the poor owner's head.
-Real Man Rohan the Butcher: With a single blow, Real Man Rohan cut through THREE enemies with a well-positioned Great Cleave! Highest cleave record: 3
-Real Man Rohan the Unencumbered. Jumped easily over the water from the dock to a pier when fully decked out in full plate.
-Nikolai Kuznetsov, expert safebreaker. With a single hairpin, disabled TWO locks within seconds. (I.E. less than 6 seconds per lock).
-Nikolai, the Disemboweler. Ran his sword through a halfling as the halfling stupidly attempted to bull-rush him off the roof of a building. Also disemboweled with both his swords through an enemy that Kalara failed to bull-rush off the ship. Disemboweled enemies: 5
-Anferno, THE Inquisitor. With Anferno as the party's face, his enemies more often than not surrendered and nothing escapes his notice and intuition as lies flowing freely from Pardu Pildapush was caught by the ever-perceptive Inquisitor. His ability to talk his enemies into surrendering is improving!
-Anferno, the Leader of Man. With his influence with Cheliax, Anferno invested in a caravan dealing with demonic/devilish parts, be it for spell components, display or as aphrodisiacs. He also owned a personal naval vessel from Cheliax which he used to attempt to blockade and board the No Return if ever the slaver ship attempts to flee the docks of Absalom.
-Zuril, the Slaver-wannabe. Attempted to peddle a poor dying man to a slaver. Failed as specimen was deemed too weak and worthless.
-Zuril, the Entrepreneur. Seeing that Anferno is making some profits with his caravan, Zuril invested in a caravan as a sideline. Hmm... Potential slaver? Slavery is legal in Absalom anyway...
-Kalara: While the entire party quaffed potions of invisibility and waited for all the sailors on the ship to be in position for a co-ordinated bull-rush, she is the only one to fail bull-rushing the sailors which Nikolai quickly dispatched. See above.
Party:
Party also had a square off with an enlarged Captain Gnarl. The fight with Captain Gnarl was a tradeoff between Real Man Rohan and Gnarl while the rest of the party attempted to get into position. Kalara, with her glitterdust spell temporarily blinded Gnarl's lieutenant while her party fought Gnarl. A well-placed blow from Gnarl brought Real Man Rohan to his senses as its single blow sliced through Rohan's armor and bites deeply into his flesh which Theodore Rohan returned with equal raging fervour. Of course, with the Pathfinders fully concentrating on dispatching a single foe, even Captain Gnarl Bonegather is no match for the party.
