Chime was found as a baby in a craddle, at the doorstep of a Temple of Sarenrae. Raised by the clerics and priests of the temple, Chime learned to be kind, caring & helpful. Though he looks like a human boy, his skin is pale, old and there are signs of cracks, like it's slowly rotting away. Growing up with this curse was really difficult for him. Other orphan children and people will avoid or bully him because of his differences. But the clerics that took care of him did not mind, instead they see something special within him. Chime spend most of his childhood playing by himself or have 1 or 2 friends that didn't mind his odd looks. Chime mostly covers his body, with long robes and vestments that the orphan children wears in the temple. He bandages both his arms to hide as much as he can. He spends most of the time studying and helping out a local Gunsmith, (insert name here). While helping out at the Gunsmith shop, Chime was always learning, studying and fascinated with guns. The Gunsmith, although old and retired, taught Chime about gunsmithing, simple tricks to use a gun and gave him a pistol. Chime promised the Gunsmith that he will only use this pistol in time of need. The relationship between them is very close, almost like father and son. Roleplay element: As the Oracle of Time, Chime have a watch, that is always on his wrists. No matter how hard he tries, it doesn't seem to be able to take it off. He didn't try any life threatening things or intense ways of hurting himself to remove the watch. Chime cannot remember how or when he got this watch. It seems to be on him since young. His memory of his younger childhood like 1-2 years old are foggy, he can't remember what happened. He just knows that this watch has been with him all this time. Chime slowly became interested in clockworks as well as complex constructs. The watch looks old and broken. There are a few glyphs surrounding circumference of the watch. There are a few slots where you can insert small gear pieces. One night, when Chime is about to go to bed, he happen to find a small gear piece, just lying there on his bed. The gear seems to fit perfectly in one of the glyphs of the watch. When Chime inserts the glyph, the cracks around the watch glows in a dark purple aura. The watch seems to be "activated" or by inserting the gear, it triggered something in the watch. The aura from the watch seems to have a warm, nice and calming energy. Chime felt like he unlocked some ability.
