Oracle Mystery Class Ability

Automatic Writing (Su): Once per day, you can spend a full hour in uninterrupted meditation. During this period, your hands produce mysterious writing that pertains to the future. At 1st level, the prophetic writing manifests as an augury spell with 90% effectiveness. At 5th level, the writing takes the form of a divination with 90% effectiveness. 16 Lamashan AR 4715 (Week 9, Day 6)

Upon making the appropriate preparations for the trip to Vyre, the Silver Ravens had a couple of encounters on the waters off the Ravounel Coast, but nothing majorly threatening.

Bringing back a giant seaweed monster off the ship, Naqueisar tried eating it, but it tastes like rotten seaweed. Over at Vyre, the party returned the deeds of a few warehouses from Vyre back to their rightful owner, the halfling known as Molly Mayapple, owner of the most prestigious inn in Vyre.

With an established ally in hand, Molly is able to garner a few invitations to the Queen of Delights' Feast. Experiencing some rather unusual and exotic dishes, the party impresses the Queen of Delights, Manticce Kaleekii. Most suitably impressed with the elven mage, Arklas Halinor, she invited him to stay back after the party and discusses the alliance further. 

With an alliance firmly in hand, the Queen of Delights did mention that the Ravens should be aware of Hei-Fen, an old woman at the party who is a wererat follower of Norgorber and who seems unusually interested in the Ravens.

With those words of warning, the Ravens departed Vyre for the one and a half day sail back to Kintargo.

Silver Raven Actions

Realizing that the Ravens needed additional aid, Charlotte requested the Rose of Kintargo, Hetamon Haace to help secure more magical aid which he promptly left in the Wasp Nest. 

What the group did not realize is the fact that their popularity has pushed them to Rank 8. This grants the team more flexibility as the direct supporters walk the ground with them as grassroots leader. The Silver Ravens have now 4 actions per week!

Leaving an major secure cache in the Wasp Nest, Hetamon quietly sneaked away from the Longroad Coffeehouse when he deems it appropriate.

The major cache consists of the following items (which have been added to the unclaimed items list on the main Notes page):

- Potion of cure serious wounds (4)
- Restorative ointment (5 applications)
- Scroll of dispel magic (2)
- Scroll of raise dead
- Scroll of restoration

Not trusting the Paracount in the slightest, the Ravens elected to Gather information to see if Barzillai Thrune have any more tricks up his sleeve. The city of Kintargo seems too quiet at the moment. 

The push to Recruit supporters have enticed more supporters for the Silver Raven. 22 people have pledged to vote for the Silver Ravens come election time.

With the leadership not around over the weekend, the merchants take it upon themselves to Earn gold and thus donated 30 gold sails to the Ravens' coffers.

The information gathered is as such, "Menador's Gap all but closed to traffic, with one of the Lord-Mayor's distant relations overseeing the closure. Only Thrune loyalists are being allowed through the pass!"

21 Lamashan AR 4715 (Week 7, Day 4)

The Ravens' advisers suggested that they take out Menador Keep as it is the only route in which Egorian can send it's army through unopposed. The party deliberated multiple options before Chang decides to teleport the entire party to the top, and from there, they teleported right into the midst of the Keep, eliminating all resistances by the powerful Chang.

Convincing a servant janni, Zorumar to join them, he was keen initially as the Ravens entertained him with song and dance, but on learning that Kintargo requires an armed insurgency before being able to listen to songs, he decides to return back to the Elemental Plane of Air to look for his former master.

The party teleports back to Kintargo, where Charlotte asks Hetamon for help in crafting a headband of alluring charisma +2, which he readily agrees.

Silver Raven Actions

2 supporters left the Silver Ravens as they thought that Barzillai Thrune is turning away to the good side, and believes in their heart that the Silver Ravens have done their part.

Combined with Arklas Halinor's ability to Earn gold, the merchants, and Vyre's trade helps the Silver Ravens to bring in 44 gold sails. 

Gathering information, the Fushi sisters have been approached by a Tien woman, Tayacet Tiora, has advised the Silver Ravens not to attend the masquerade as it is a trap. She is willing to meet up with the Ravens if they so desire.

Chang decides to use his surprisingly racist humour to Recruit 21 supporters. They firmly believe that the Silver Ravens did a good job in bringing Barzillai Thrune around.

The rumourmongers have been caught by the POFMA police. Without a spymaster to direct them, they made many rookie mistakes, and this unfortunately nets the Ravens 1 Notoriety.

Returning abroad, a contagion has spread among your team. It first starts with Victocora Rexus, probably due to him not going out to enjoy the Sun often, but it quickly runs rampant. The Fushi sisters are next. A successful Heal check can probably mitigate some of the effects of this sickness.

For the next week, all Security checks takes a -4 penalty.

26 Lamashan AR 4715

Agreeing to meet with Tayacet Tiora, the group agrees that the Ruby Masquerade is a trap. Teleporting in, they quickly overcome Barzillai Thrune, and uses him to try to infiltrate the Temple of Asmodeus, where Tayacet reported that a large amount of powdered silver has been acquired.

Thinking that the high priests of both Asmodeus and Zon-Kuthon are about to cast a powerful spell, they entered the place with the intent of slaying the priests before they can complete their spell. They held them off for a while, before slaying an acolyte when the appearance of Rivozair, an old enemy of the Silver Ravens, an adult blue dragon put paid to their plans. Fleeing the compound, and out of Kintargo itself, they had a brief skirmish with the dragon, before it flies away. Someone, or something is calling to it, and it rests back at it's nest at the upper levels of the Temple.

Only after slaying Barzillai Thrune, do they know that it is actually an imposter. A polymorphed bone devil who assumes his identity. Chang manages to cut some of the bone devil up. For what nefarious reason? None can tell.

Chang also know that there is an ancient haunted house in Absalom that needs cleansing. He needs it for a powerful spell he have to weave.

With the attempted assassination on his life, the Paracount Barzillai Thrune immediately calls off the Ruby Masquerade, and hereby announces three more proclamations.

Proclamation the Eleventh - Bleakbridge Closure
"With the uprise in rebel activity, it pains my heart to issue the closure of Bleakbridge to all but official traffic, yet such steps are necessary to ensure your protection! The Silver Ravens must not be allowed free access across the Yolubilis, and until you aid in their defeat, Bleakbridge shall remain closed and under guard."

Proclamation the Twelfth - Public Religion
"Public worship of any deity other than Lord Asmodeus, Saviour of Cheliax, Master of Humanity, is hereby forbidden. All works of art and artifice bearing the likenesses or symbols of the lesser faiths must be turned over to the dottari. Worship of Zon-Kuthon, Abadar, and Shelyn may continue only within the walls of their respective temples. Noncompliance shall be met with the strictest of correctional steps."

Proclamation the Thirteenth - Outlawing of the Silver Ravens
"The destructive and ruinous anarchists known as the Silver Ravens are hereby proscribed, and until their leaders surrender or are captured, all Silver Raven sympathizers must disavow support of this extremist group, lest they be faced with fines, imprisonment, and excruciation!"

With the immediate proclamation, the dottari, and the Hellknights of the Order of the Rack begins to enforce their will upon the citizenry. In the past, the Silver Ravens is just an annoyance, but with the attempt on his life, the Paracount Barzillai Thrune can abide by this no more.

29 Lamashan AR 4715, 0800

With Hetamon missing, and several things needing to be done, the Silver Ravens waste no time in trying to track Hetamon down. An exploration of his store reveals nothing, although an appearance by one of the Fushi sisters informs the party that the dottari has strong armed the River Talons, a tengu gang whose turf is the Bleakbridge, to help blockade the area.

The party was also reminded that the Lictor Octavio Sabinus is a Hell Knight of the Order of the Torrent, whom specializes in rescuing kidnapped civilians from monsters. Thinking it's a good idea to go, the group sought his help, and with a quick search, they deduced that he is indeed trapped beneath the Silver Star, Shensen's musical store which was burned down during the Night of Ashes. 

Finding Natsiel, a half-succubus of some power, and a couple of hag sisters attempting to summon a witchfire, the party attacks first. Slaying the two hags, Natsiel manages to escape despite being possessed by Chang, which is almost unheard of. 

Strea Vistoris, a strong advocate for tiefling rights was rescued along with Hetamon, and the party elects to base her in Jarvis' End to take control of the region, preventing Barzillai Thrune from destabilizing the area.

A Song of Silver, pg 15

There is a chapel in the Silver Star that can be reconsecrated to Sarenrae, but it will require several hours of cleansing and consecration by a follower of Sarenrae and someone who is able to cast consecrate.

After the chapel has been cleansed, the Dawnflower Font can be purified by casting hallow, and bless water.

30 Lamashan AR 4715, 0800

Initial attempts to sneak in a team to covertly ask Ravzee, the leader of the River Talons out is not possible, as the dottari are too alert.

After much careful deliberation, the Silver Ravens decided to lure both Rivozair and storm the Bleakbridge blockade at the same time. With Chang as bait, dressed as a blue chicken, he dimension door out of the dragon's reach. Closing in to melee, the dragon almost slaughtered Alodia if not for the casting of stoneskin which saved his sorry hide.

Throwing multiple fireballs in quick succession, Chang laid waste to the gathered dottari troops and they coerced the commander of Kintargo's dottari, Vanneses Trex to assist them in their endeavour. Promising to be merciful to the dottari under her command, they requested her to withdraw her dottari from northern Kintargo so that they can get to the Record Halls and assassinate Barzillai's witch advisor. She is guarded by a troop of inquisitors.

With Rivozair slain, the areas of Villegre, Yolubilis River, Old Kintargo and Jarvis End is now firmly under the Silver Raven's control. Laria is given Villegre, while the River Talons are given Yolubilis. Jarvis End is given over to Strea Vestori for control.

31 Lamashan AR 4715 (Week 8, Day 6)

Driven from his home in Barzillai Thrune's clampdown on Kintargo, Mia Victocora, an excellent spymaster offered his services to the leaders of the Silver Raven. 

Continuing their effort to prevent the Mephisto Manifestation Ritual from taking place, they teleported to Rivozair's lair and from there launched their deadly assault, destroying both Corinstian Grivenner and the vampiress priestess of Zon-Kuthon at one go. The vampiress while escaping in mist form was sucked out by an air elemental and brought out to the Sun where she succumbs to the deadly rays.

With the column of hellfire blocking their way, and the Devil's Bells periodically ringing, our intrepid heroes hasten their plot to disable the Infernal Engines before going for the Devil's Bells!

Most importantly, where is Barzillai Thrune???

31 Lamashan AR 4715, 10:00 (Week 8, Day 6)

Continuing exploration of the eastern wing, the party comes across a tiger-headed humanoid who was trapped and bound to the Infernal Engine. Destroying it, the Silver Ravens hoped that the humanoid would assist them, but having it's soul thoroughly drained by the Engine, he refuses to help unless the Ravens restore his health.

Charlotte, finding a way to disable the Infernal Engine, manages to do it and Chang destroys the Engine with a single disintegrate, cutting it off from the source of magic. It's exploding energies rushes throughout the room, empowering the remaining three adventurers, thus granting them more mythical powers.

Mia was not so lucky, however. The energies drained a portion of his soul, although Charlotte helped restoring it a little. It looks like Mia will need another week to recover.

31 Lamashan AR 4715, 11:00 (Week 8, Day 6)

Leaving the tiger-headed humanoid alone, the party searches the west wing of the second level, rescuing Shensen who have been turned to stone by a cockatrice.

Encountering the second Infernal Engine, and armed with the knowledge of the previous machine, the Silver Ravens have no reason to suspect that the first method of destruction will not work and proceeded to make short work of the device.

Shaken by her experience, she hangs back while the party tries to deal with Barzillai Thrune. Having spent a significant amount of their resources earlier, the party have a hard time trying to fend off the furious inquisitor.

The mage, Arklas put an anti-magic field around himself and bravely moves forward, cutting off most of the inquisitor's powers. A furious melee ensues, in which Alodia is almost dead, while Arklas lies unconscious on the floor.

Realizing that he needs to change his strategy, Barzillai Thrune teleported back to Egorian to lick his wounds. "Until next time, Silver Ravens..." His form slowly phasing out, his voice lingering in the air for a moment.

As the party rifles through Barzillai Thrune's belongings after disabling his wards, she voices out her suspicions that the lord-mayor has performed a ritual to extend his life, and that it very nearly killed him. He had to recuperate for several weeks after performing it. She was unable to piece together everything, but each day that he lives, he is one day closer to something he refers to as his "final apotheosis". She also heard him speak of Cheliax several times in the first person, as if he had increasingly come to identify as the land itself.
