The Aspis operatives, Falth, Rataji, Shohiraj, Thestil Shadowtongue & Zurnzal was asked to meet Iaovin Ratarion, a Patron of the Aspis Consortium for a mission. Whether they were coerced, blackmailed or just simply asked to go, it matters not.
From here, Iaovin wants the Aspis agents to go to Wirholt's Rictus in Nidal & to retrieve evidence of the Korholm Agenda's operations in the region.
Shenanigans from the party eventually gained them access to the secret entrance in which they learnt that the Korholm Agenda is actually conducting vile experiments. Thestil managed to disguise herself as one of the leaders of the plantation & thus avoided many encounters with the guards. However, Falth getting spotted resulted in Zurnzal jumping through glass windows & chasing off scientists intended on destroying evidence of their work, all the while, the party being besieged on all sides by the inhabitants of that particular tropical biome.
In the deeper laboratories, the party found a slew of magical items (which they unlocked in their Chronicle sheets!) as well as a weird creature which promptly tore Thestil apart, while Zurnzal struggles with drinking a potion which causes him to mutate as well as a strange tapeworm which promptly crawls up his nostrils into this body.
The final encounter proved to be a pushover as the party led by Aaog-Shagga ploughed into melee combat which the chief scientist have no chance of evading.
Conclusion
Aaog-Shagga, freed from its imprisonment explains that though gratitude is a foreign concept & debt to Golarion's feeble inhabitants would be anathema, it has determined that it hates them the least among the other indigenous life forms of this backward planet. The aberration then flies off to pursue it's own agenda.
The group's return trip seems uneventful until they cross into Cheliax. Within an hour, a team of Aspis operatives led by a finely dressed Garundi agent named Amersanus Valacosti. He informs the party that his team is to escort them back to Ostenso for debriefing and that they are to speak of nothing that they saw to anyone except Iaovin Ratarion. As they approach the Aspis Building, members of Valacosti’s team teleport the party directly into the Aspis Building and shepherd them to the Hall of Blades.
He snidely debriefs them, asking probing questions and repeatedly reminding them that what they discovered is to be kept completely confidential—even with regards to high-ranking members of the Consortium. For their service and compliance, he also assures them that they will be paid in full for their work, whether that’s in gold, favors, or the tearing up of pending bounties.
