Summary:
Act 1
Ordered by Venture-Captain Osretia Cassomiran to safe guard and escort relics back to Absalom, the Pathfinders represent the Pathfinder Society at a wedding (between Pathfinder Farendir Faireven and Lujine, the “Lady of Silver”) in Katheer. All was going well during the wedding fesitival, as Thu'ul showed off his combat prowess by winning the Qadiran Royal Rumble against fellow pathfinder, Quinn and 6 other combatants! The other pathfinders who were ever vilgilant to spotted a guard that was sweating profusely and Kyseth took a hunch to silently detect evil upon the suspicious man, unsurprisingly he turned out to be evil. Pointing out this information to the rest of the pathfinders, Yuki immediately went to confront that man. Turns out the suspicious man was prepared to be confronted and unleashed ferocious animals to attack the crowd—a distraction planned by unscrupulous thieves who make off with the artifacts the Pathfinders were tasked with bringing back to Absalom! Chaos breaks out at the wedding feast as the pathfinders quickly acted to pacify the 3 Dire Lions and the Huge rampaging Elephant. Thanks to the actions of the Pathfinders, there were little casualties but Master Bashir was certainly not happy that his plans and his daughter's wedding was ruined as he furiously told off the Pathfinders...
Act 2
Clues at the feast site lead the Pathfinders to the training hall of the Fraternity of the Unforgiving Fire, allies of the sorcerer-merchant Raamiz Ibn-Chadli. They journey to the outskirts of Katheer, among the stench of slaughterhouses and tanneries where they find the run down building. Ambushed by 8 thugs, Thu'ul was the 1st to be overwhelmed by the sheer numbers but the Bloodrager was a tough cookie as even a surprise attack could not bring him down! Emeron then unleashed a Fireball that instantly BBQed 4 of them that failed their reflex save as the rest of the Pathfinders finished off the rest, leaving 1 alive for interrogation and evidence. Within the building, they find additional evidence pointing toward Ibn-Chadli as the source of the thievery.
Act 3
Investigation into the sorcerer-merchant leads to Ibn-Chadli’s villa. There, the Pathfinders brazenly made their way into his home and uncovered more evidence, love letters written to Lujine, returned after she rejected his suit and a battered journal, a volume once stolen from Pathfinder Venture-Captain Targos Min-Katheer. Upon searching a back shed, 2 sinister erinyes attacked them while cursing them for tresspassing on people's property and being the despicable Pathfinders who murder and rob tombs! The 2 erinyes were no match for the numbers and prowess as they were knocked unconscious before being tied up...
Act 4
With much evidence gathered, the Pathfinders then plotted to find and deal with Raamiz Ibn-Chadli when unexpectedly, a platoon of the Satrap's royal guards confronted them as they were ordered to stand down and be arrested for 'crimes' against the House of Silver. Despite the fact that the Pathfinders might just be able to overpower the 30 soldiers and 5 sorcerers, they decided that it would not be wise to fight and taint the Pathfinder Society's reptuation and stood down. Fortunately, they were treated with respect as they were escorted to the land’s most opulent prison, their chambers are elegantly appointed, yet their solid iron doors lock from the outside. With the trial commencing tomorrow, the Pathfinders had all the time they need to prepare proof of their innocence.
During the trial, the Pathfinders were able to raise up many evidences that their were not guilty of their crimes of "plotting the theft of ancient relics, and of the planned murder of Master Bashir al-Mudaris so that the Pathfinder Society might claim the resources of the House of Silver". Quinn, Kyseth and Emeron also easily identified shoddy forgeries, riddled with misspelled names, mistaken titles, and unlikely phrases when the court produced 'evidence' in the form of a sheaf of letters, instructions allegedly written to them by their faction leaders that supposedly outline their conspiracy to betray the House of Silver, using Farendir as the Society’s pawn.
Quinn then stood forth to state the final evidence bringing forth the true culprit being all this: Raamiz Ibn-Chadli. Tired of the Satrap's incompetent leadership and judgement, Quinn then cleverly mocked their judgement as it was clear as day that the Pathfinders were framed.
Satisified that the Pathfinders are innocent but unhappy that they were mocked, the Satrap then ordered the Pathfinders to deal with the mastermind, Raamiz Ibn-Chadli or be expelled from Qadira forever on orders of His Exalted Eminence, Xerbystes II, as the trial came to an end.
Act 5
Vengenace on their minds, the Pathfinders tracked down Raamiz Ibn-Chadli to the tomb of an honored high priest with the help of Al’Jahar Abu-Targos, nephew of deceased Venture-Captain Targos Min-Katheer. Upon entering the tomb and spotting Raamiz Ibn-Chadli and his Orge thugs, the Pathfinders took all of them out within 6 seconds as Black Tentacles, Fireballs and angry hasted warriors showed no mercy! With the stolen relics secured back to the rightful owners that is the Pathfinder Society, the 8 could then head back to Katheer with their heads held high as they dragged Raamiz Ibn-Chadli's corpse along for proof that he is slain.
Conclusion
Their marriage saved, the newlyweds see the Pathfinders off on their way to Absalom. They ensure that their good deeds spreads wherever they go. Master Bashir offers his thanks for the Pathfinders in dealing with the unexpected disruption and made a good cut out for the society and especially for The Exchange, no doubt Exchange member Quinn was delighted to close a good business deal. Rumor also spreads among the slavers of the region, word that the Pathfinder Society is not a group to mess around with especially thanks to Liberty's Edge's "Infamous" Devin Drake!
So ends the chronicles of Our Lady of Silver.
