Alright so as you all probably know I'll be running a some sessions when we have no CoT. It will be a standard fantasy setting, though gameplay will hopefully be rather realistic. It will be a complete sandbox, so you guys can more or less do whatever.
Defining statement: Tired with your lives in Lumridge you decide to go out and experience the world. You are all at least vaguely familiar with each other, be it childhood friends, tavern buddies, or what have you.
Not at all done Setting Info:
Calradia:
The continent of Calradia is vast, and you know little of it outside your own little world. Calradia is split up into lots of smaller states, called baronies, each with its own governing body. It is rather peaceful in terms of inter-barony conflict, but certainly not unheard of. Monsters and bandits are no rarity.
The east, called Calradia, is where your barony is located. Calradia is almost entirely human, though very rarely you might see a halfbreed of an orc or elf. The culture is very similar to that of medieval Europe, though gender equality is thorough. Religion is prevalent, but not as much as Golarian for example. It has a temperate climate, experiencing all four seasons.
Ulm:
The barony you inhabit is called Ulm. As you can see on the map, it is split into three regions, Dothbrough, Hempshire, and Evendale. Culture much like that of the rest of Calradia. Bandits are not uncommon, nor are other monsters. There have been rumors of a Kolbold warren hidden somewhere.
Lumridge:
A small farming hamlet where you are from. Population of roughly 60 people. There is a small tavern called The Bear's Head. There isn't a watch, as the town is too small, though there is a sheriff and if times get hard, poorly trained militia as well. The people of this town are rather poor, living on maybe 3-4 gp a month. Most earn their money through agriculture, as you would expect, and don't travel far from their homes. The furthest most go would be to either Faldor Town or Varrock, where they sell their produce.
Faldor: A temple set upon an island.
Faldor Town: A large town that sprung up around Faldor. Population of roughly 1250. It has the normal facilities that you would expect of a town of this size. Rather religious, and clerics/priests are slightly more common.
