Athena DragonsbaneFighter 1 /Sorcerer 1/ Eldritch Knight 1 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Youngest of the Dragonsbane children and the only daughter, Athena is somewhat spoilt by her parents and elder brothers. Due to the large age gap between herself and Aurorn, she looks up to the twins as role models as they are closer to her age. She also feels "left out" due to the strong bond between the twins, and makes up for it by following them everywhere, trying to insert herself into whatever plans they might make, something that the twins make full use of, as their father generally lets Athena get away with anything. With the twins as role models, Athena is interested in both sorcery and swordplay. Learning sorcery from her mother and swordplay from her father, she binds the both seamlessly in her own fighting style, and eventually inherits her father's Sun Blade - Albion. Hot-headed, quick to anger and not afraid of using her good looks (thanks mummy!) to her advantage, Athena generally talks her way out of everything. Albion is usually kept sheathed to her side, and she relies on spells for the most part (The best place for a blade is in it's scabbard. Remember that well. - Richard Dragonsbane), as when she draws Albion, it usually means that !(#$ is going to break loose.

The Dragonsbane Children and the Summoning Stone.
Bored. Bored. Bored. Bored. Bored.
Not a single cloud was in the sky, and the sun's full radiance shorn down upon the Dragonsbane children. They lay on the grass, watching birds fly by as they waited for time to pass.
"ARGHT! I'm so bored!" Aylan said jumping to his feet. "Why did dad and mum bring us to this stupid island anyway! I much rather go and visit Uncle Ukyo and get him to teach me some new moves!" Drawing his katana, the young boy began practicing the few moves he knew.
"It's not that bad." Aurorn, always the beacon of reason chided. "Uncle Anferno and Anfernal aren't that bad, and well, we could have gone down and watched the Hellknights train if not for that last incident with the grease and fire." He eyed Athena and Aiden as he recapped their last escapade.
Athena feigned ignorance, "how was I supposed to know that they left their Black Powder lying around. We were just practicing our spells!"
"Well. You guys better stay out of trouble this time! Mum and da - AYLAN! GET DOWN FROM THAT TREE! IT'S TOO CLOSE TO THE CLIFF!"
Aylan ignored his elder brother's cries as he climbed higher. Aiden had noticed a strange nest up on the top of the tree, and bet that he couldn't climb up there. Aylan wasn't one to stand down from a challenge! Mother always said he got that from his father. The tree branches were getting fewer and far between and Aylan was having trouble reaching the higher branches. The branches were getting precariously thin, but he'll be damned before he gave up. He could already picture the smug expression on Aiden's face if he gave up. Steeling his determination, he reached up for the next branch only to hear a sickening crack, as he lost his balance and tumbled down the tree.
Aiden was the first to the cliff's edge, peering down to see where his brother had fallen. His heart was beating so fast with fear and worry and tears began to well in his eyes before he heard the reassuring voice. "Come down here guys! There's this really cool cave!"
Scurrying down the cliff-face, the kids realised that a mossy plateau had broken Aylan's fall, and besides some scratches, he was no worse for wear. The entrance of a huge cave loomed before them.
"Oh wow... Let's go see!" Athena said eagerly, her golden eyes glowing in the dark as she entered the cave.
"Showoff. Not all of us are like mummy!" Aiden commented, and summoned three orbs of dancing flames that moved into the dark cave, illuminating it.
"ATHENA, GET BACK HERE! We shouldn't be - STOP STOP YOU GUYS! COME BACCCCCCCK!!" Aurorn pleaded, trying to stop his siblings from entering the cave, but to no avail.
The three younger children sped ahead ignoring their elder brother's pleas. Such a worrywart that one. They were only going to go take a look, not like anything could happen. Suddenly the cave opened up into a wide cavern. Blue moss glowed on the walls, and strange crystals emitted a soft light that illuminated the pool in the center. A circle of stones sat on a raised dais in the middle of the pool.
"Woah- this place is teeming with magic!" Aiden replied, pulling out a book from the bag of holding he'd inherited from his mother to carry around all his encyclopedias. Flipping through one of them he stopped when he found a picture of a circle of stones, similar to the one before them. Flicking his long hair out of his face, he turned the page towards his siblings, "summoning circles like these were used by ancient ritualists to conjure up their gods and deities. Usually some kind of sacrificed was required and in return, they received some kind of boon. However..."
At this point he willed the dancing lights to reposition themselves under his chin, casting his face in creepy looking shadows. "If their gods decided their sacrifice was unworthy... DOOM DOOM DOOM!" He yelled out, tickling Athena as she screamed in terror.
"Stop bullying your sister!" Aurorn scolded again. "I know you boys are going to go investigate even if I tell you not to, so just sit tight until I get Cheesie out to help okay?"
The twins grinned as they waited for Aurorn to summon his eidolon Cheese Pie, flipping through the encyclopedia trying to find ways to activate it.
After some time, Aurorn had finished his ritual, and his eidolon Cheesie materialized at his side. Cheesie was in fact the offspring of their mother's eidolon Superwhite, and he was a great friend to all of them.
"Come on! Let's goooooo," Athena whined, tugging at Aiden's robe as the four children waded across the shallow pool.
The stones were mostly broken, and eroded from ages of neglect. Damn from the condensation of water, they noticed an unnatural coldness around the stones. "Man, this thing is broken!" Aylan commented, kicking at one of the pebbles.
Aiden looked around, and noticed a faint etching into the floor itself. Getting on his knees, he pushed away the dirt to reveal a series of runes carved into the floor. "I think we can reactivate this! If we move the stones back into their original position, maybe we can get this working!"
Following Aiden's instructions, the kids began reassembling the summoning circle, moving the stones back into position and redrawing the parts of the runes that were weathered away. It was lucky Aiden had studied Infernal!
"Well, nothing's happening. I think we should go home now." Aurorn stated, noticing that it was getting dark.
Aylan sulked, "man, that was a waste of time."
Aiden pondered, walking around the stones again, what was missing?
"Hey! I found something!" Athena said, squatting over a shallow alcove that was previously hidden by a rock. Inside was a box containing a parchment. "Magic Scroll!" she said, passing it over to Aiden.
"Okay, that's enough! No casting weird magics today!" Aurorn scolded, grabbing the scroll and tucking it into his robes.
The twins looked at each other with a knowing glance, then a split second later, Aylan was wrestling Cheesie as Athena and Aiden snatched the scroll out of Aurorn's grasp.
"Ichiel galreah fabbula son..." Aiden began to read, as the stones started to glow eeriely.
"STOP STOP STOP STOP STOOOOOOP!" Aurorn yelled out, but to no avail, his sister had him pinned almost completely. As he flailed around helplessly, the room began to take on a chill as a swirl of smoke begins to form in the centre of the stone cairn.
As Aiden finishes the casting, a crack of lightning appears from no where, hitting the centre of the stone circle, sending dust flying as black smoke begins to emit from the ground. The children scurry back to the far end of the cave, trying to avoid touching any of the smoke. In the centre, a figure forms... a hulking body of green and beige scales give way to strong legs resembling that of a T'rex. Two pincer like appendages clatter, as the creature turns to face them, its maw filled with razor sharp teeth, wicked horns protruding from the front of it's head. It turned to face the children, and rearing up to it's full height of 18 feet, it stared down the four kids with eyes that glittered with intelligence and malice...
"...We are so in trouble." Aurorn said, as he stood up protectively in front of his siblings to face the Glabrezu.

The Wizard's Tower.
Durlag's Tower has it's reputation as the deadliest, most dangerous place in Golarion. The labyrinthine corridors of this tower defy logic and sense, and anyone seeking to enter the tower had to enter portals and demiplanes to ascend to the top. Guarded by arcane golems from ages before and heavily trapped, adventurers still try their luck traversing the tower, to attain the fabled treasure that lies at the top.
At the peak of the tower, three hundred feet above the ground, Aylan Dragonsbane sips at the finest Elven Wine, his companion's naked form sprawled across the bed.
"I SPEND YEARS BUILDING UP THIS TOWER'S REPUTATION AND YOU COME IN HERE WITH YOUR ONE NIGHT STANDS?" A thundering voice booms out as Aiden Dragonsbane, Evoker extrodinaire (and Aylan's twin brother) comes bursting through the door. He takes in a deep breath and appears to calm down until he notices where Aylan rests his wine glass. Expelling what seems like smoke through his nostrils, in an almost too calm demeanor, he continues, "is that my Book of the Damned you are using as a coaster?"
It was said that on that day Durlag's Tower nearly imploded.
Extra Scene :
"What is that insufferable mewling I hear coming from the lower levels of the Tower?" Aiden asks, sitting amidst the debris that encompassed the room."
"Oh." Aylan drawls lazily, as he tears off a page off his brother's old spellbook, crushes it into a ball and tosses it towards a bucket sitting at the far end of the room. "Your sister might have mentioned to me to pass you a message about her being in town and wanting to visit..."
Aiden's face momentarily turned red, as he exhaled a deep breath to calm himself down. "It's a miracle I haven't killed you yet." he uttered, before teleporting away with an audible BANG!
"YES!" Aylan cheered, as he finally managed to land one into the bucket. "Oh wait..." he rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "Did I also mention to him that dad, mum and Aurorn are on their way?"
From the bottom of the tower came the familiar ear piercing screech. Aylan always wondered if his mother's yells could rival a harpy.
