"It should be alright!", with bow in hand, Travels descended the steps into the second level of The Infernal Reward.
With light emanating from Edwardo's ring casting eerie shadows in the darkness of the ocean, Travels did not notice that the shadows suddenly took on a weird shape before it lashed at him with their strength sapping touch. Caught unprepared, his mind raced as he thought to himself, "I cannot endure their touch any longer" as his body grows weaker.
His muscles atrophying at an alarming rate, Travels fell backwards onto the stairs, and started scampering up the stairs, his bow dropped and forgotten. His twin, Akabane, on his last mission before being promoted to the ranks of Seeker rushed down the stairs in an attempt to save his twin, but he was too late. When the cold calculating shadows touched Travels a second time, he collapsed, dead. His soul dragged by the life-seeking shadows into the Negative Plane.
His companions dealt with his killers shortly and less than a minute after his death, Travels rose too as a shadow, only to be destroyed as Akabane looked helplessly but he knew that to set his brother free, his undead form must be purged.
And so it is written, in The Death Note of the demise and subsequent resurrection of Travels.

Ambushed by 2 shadows in the wrecked ruins of The Infernal Reward. He had no chance to act as the shadows rolled a 21 for initative. 3 blows drained him of 14 Strength which causes Travel to be raised as a shadow.
Subsequently destroyed by his party.
Resurrected afterwards.
