Upon capturing Wymund Pratt and handing him over to the authorities at Kaer Maga, the Pathfinders learnt that he was executed for instilling such unrest and attempting to cause a disruption in the careful balance of power between the powerful political forces vying for control of the city, namely the Ardoc family, creator of the golems in the City of Strangers and the Commerce League, headed by the mysterious being known as Dakar.
It is as the Pathfinders were attempting to leave that they were "asked" to see Dakar again.
