When Grandmaster Torch reported to the Pathfinder Society that the Minotaur Prince Nuar Spiritskin has gone missing, the party was summoned to the Grand Lodge in Absalom with a quick meeting with Venture-Captain Drandle Dreng. In return for the Pathfinders' help, Grandmaster Torch offers them information regarding an ancient elven artifact, known as Izryen’s Hourglass that lies in the depths of Delirium's Tangle.
The party spent a full day in the Delirium's Tangle, a maze beneath the sewers of Absalom and they were prevented from getting lost, due to the skills of their two rangers, Krustick and Inaros Abu Den with Krustick being the better tracker and Inaros relegated to an assistant role.
After 10 hours of searching, they finally found the final chamber of the Delirium's Tangle. Elvish design though it might be but it was filled with traps and red herrings that would have thrown lesser Pathfinders off guard.
Before opening the door, the party was gated to an extradimensional pocket in which a remnants of the Void Whisperer attempted to ambush the party. The group spotted it in time and tried to tell them that the yummy dwarf Grim is a sacrifice. Prompt disposal of the gibbering horror transported the party back to the hallway and the next chamber, they tackled a door which attempts to flood the room.
In the final chamber, tied to a massive astrolabe, suspended in mid-air 20 feet above the ground, held by twelve chains dangles an ancient and decrepit elf, who came alive in rage, promising death and vengeance to the "short-lived worms and insects". Attacking with lashing chains and spells, the party shot at him from below while Sakura, Falling Blossom and Onion climbed up onto the catwalk and tried to attack him on the catwalk. Falling Blossom fell prey to the ancient sorcerer's laughing spells while Sakura took a while to climb up, as the catwalk was narrow, and have no railings to support herself. Onion ran and jumped off the ledge using both daggers as a hold and it lodged deeply into the elf's body as he attacked the sorcerer from below. Against such vicious attacks, the elf stood no chance and ultimately, perished in combat with the halfling.
Nuar Spiritskin has no recollection of the events that transpires, that he only knew that he went to bed and when he woke up, he was deep in the caverns engaged in combat with a swarm of morlocks. Grateful for the Pathfinders' help, he returned back to Absalom safely and can maintain his position as the Ambassador of the Minotaur community on the Isle of Korthos.
