As the Wanderers teleported back, Anfernus pilots the Anfernator towards the group and speaks over the loudspeakers..
"Did you guys find my bro Anfernal? the one with his own caravan of demon hunters? He could help us escort this war machine to safety!"

Alas, Anfernal was not seen by the rest of the Wanderers as they returned, victorious from defeating the demonic forces in the Diamond City, Nerosyan.
By bringing the Anfernator back to Tamran, the Wanderers were surprised to learn that a group led by Sofia has successfully eradicated the Razmiran cultists and brought to them a note, indicating that the amulet has been taken by Tamran's high priestess of Razmir, the elven sorceress Iramine to the ancient ruins of Xin-Grafar, also known as the City of Golden Death.
Finally, on arrival of the Isle of Terror, with massive negative energy storms hanging overhead, the party encountered mundane creatures blighted by prolonged exposure to the Negative Plane, and finally, arrived at the City of Golden Death, led by a lost Pathfinder agent, who calls himself Dusan Dremlock.
The party descended hundreds of feet into the City, a City with three concentric sections with the smallest section at the highest elevation. The wealth of the city is immense, with buildings, streets, cobblestones and even the refuse, is covered in gold. On closer examination, however, revealed that it was actually gold-plated. This thin layer of gold was deposited in its present position as everytime the door to the City was opened, within the next 72 hours, the city will flood with molten gold.
Braving fire elementals, a babau and even an unique undead gold dragon, the Wanderers finally made it to the final sanctum of the city where Iramine attempted to subvert the Jewel of Everlasting Gold to her wishes. With the defeat of the evil sorceress, the party left the City, also known as Xin-Grafar and returned to Kassen, where they broke the amulet into three component parts and returned one piece back to Kassen's body in the Crypt of the Everflame, so that he will rest in peace and future generations can resume their four-yearly pilgrimage as a test of adulthood for the youths of Kassen.
The second piece was given to Reginar Lacklan so that he can send it back to the Vaults beneath the Grand Lodge in Absalom for safekeeping and the last piece... Well, the last piece was tossed into the "Masticator" (a bag of devouring which Mitica, the Mitigator, kept as a pet) by Nirav to keep it out of the hands of Vex's master. Nirav's sharp eyes noticed that there are Thassilonian runes of Greed carved on Vex's master's skin which alerted him to the fact that he might indeed be working for a runelord.
Reports indicated that the second piece never reached Absalom and the Pathfinder sent to deliver the package was dead and that, the Anfernator, which the party left behind in Tamran was missing.
And now, with Venture-Captain Ambrus Valsin summoning the party back on urgent business, the party are at a crossroads... Shall they proceed back to Absalom or shall they follow their hearts' desire to wander?
