Cutting a long story short in which the Pathfinders dispatched the assassin & the couple of intruding zombies, & the hero Jake is down once more, the party turned to face Metella. She took a cut from the assassin & already, it is obvious that her wounds are festering, turning a dark ugly purple. Poison, but her dwarven constitution help mitigated the effects somewhat.
The sounds of combat throughout the manor have died down & Metella is finally starting to calm down from her near brush with death.
What will our brave heroes do next?

Thorkam look to Metella" Are you alrght? you need medical attention soon!" As Thorkam let his teammate know that he need 1 charge of clw at least and exclaima in a loud voice," Let patch up quick and move even faster to meet up with Jakti. I am worried for them! Let talk while we move thru this maddnes and find out what exactly happen and also get you to a save place. " As Thorkam look to Metella and towards the rest of his teammate with confidence.
" Let also do a quick search on the body of assassin for clue who they might be from, ie weapon for house or symbol, or zombie for dust again." Thorkam reminded the rest as they continue to patch up and take short break interval guard watching making sure no more zombie is coming..
Seven Snowbeard shakes his head.."why ain't you people prepared with wands." He said as he poked his friends and Pake Jake regained consciousness for the second time in his Pathfinder career. Seven Snowbeard says "Hope that will keep us going for a while. the salesman who told me a wand of cure light wounds would last for months..."
Thorkam look at Seven and think to himself" You believe what a saleman tell you?! what the hell? And you yourself are a saleman.. You should know this better than anyone else!!! " as Thorkam shake his head and let out a sigh, seeing how gullible his friend is. It will be a relief if the wand will last through the stay in this zombie invested estate..

On the assassin's body, you find several items, they are:
a potion of cure light wounds, a potion of invisibility, smokestick, tanglefoot bag, masterwork studded
leather, masterwork scimitar, darts (2), antitoxin, black adder venom (2), caltrops, dried sunflower, grappling hook, silk
rope (50 ft.), and 51 gold coins minted in Druma.
Metella sees the coins & she burst out, "IT MUST BE TEMEL WHO IS BEHIND THIS!" & she storms out of the room to confront Temel Passad. The two merchant rivals loudly accuse one another of being the one responsible for the attacks just as Aaqir al'Hakam arrived at the entrance to the temple, in the middle of the house.
There are decaying bodies strewn across the stairs & the corridors leading to the temple as the other guests' as well as the house guards disposed of the zombies. Amongst them, there are a few servants who have been slaughtered as well.

Pake Jake attempts to sense motive Temel Passad while keeping an eye out for the others. He also looks at Aaqir's expression, hoping or maybe just wondering what the cleric Umut had to say about the matter. He wonders half-aloud if any of his comrades who are more eloquent might want to ask Temel if he has any enemies from back home who are aware of his visit here and might want to cause trouble for him. Keeping an eye out for the other 3 as well - Jakti, Pellius & Rafaella - and would be relieved if they all showed up well.
Al-Asahari scoops up the coins and examines them, "Perhaps there may be something in these coins that may reveal otherwise?" He scours the fine detail of the coins, looking for evidence that may point them out as fakes.
White scratches his beard, looking at the commotions and believed it was more than simple rivalry. There is too much trouble brewing. When Al spoke about fake coins, he scoped them up as well and examined them. Maybe they are fake, or have some merchant mark that says who owned them previously.

The coins are authentic though like all coins available in Golarion, there is no indication of any merchant marks.
Aaqir is trying to make sense of the commotion & what it implies. Jakti stands at the side, taking it all in, looking to you for your response. Temel in the meantime are engaging in a heated conversation with Metella, though with the supposed evidence at hand, Temel looks like he is on the losing side.
Of Doritannia & Pellius, both of them are yet to be found though further enquiry with Aaqir reveals that they are safely holding up in their own rooms.

Pake Jake waits to see if any of his more diplomatic friends would talk to Temel. In the meantime, he slips over to Aaqir to ask if he has any enemies that might act in such a manner, and if Umut had any thoughts about what/where might have happened to animate Trade Princess Zarmina's body, so they could check places where the body had been accessible to others.
Seven Snowbeard gave up with the coins and pouch and looked at the arguing pair, then at Pake. "Let's keep it civil here. There is still the threat of the Zs as more might just appear. This could even be a scheme of a rival or worse, rivals of the trade prince.. To get Rid of the four of you... Those people who never earned a single copper piece fairly. Please tell me what you know. Maybe... With our combined knowledges, we could find out more." Seven prayed to Abadar that everyone would stop yelling. It's getting on his nerve...
Thorkam request Temel to explain the coin. "It time to hear explanation from all side", As he try to seperate the arguing party. "No point pointing finger here. We either work this out together, or die together. Your pick. You do know if u screw up here, that the end of your career and I doubt anyone here is willing to give up their business empire they work so hard on to other SO let put aside our difference and work together. Even the death princess will wan to see this."
(Al-asahari) "May peace be upon the both of you."
Jake went over and excuse himself for interrupting the heated discussion. "Apologies to interrupt, my lords. i understand from my lord Trade Prince Aaqir that you are all very important guests of the Trade Prince." hoping that had given him a little space between Temel and Metella, he would then address Temel. "I personally wouldnt imagine that any of you, especially if you were involved in this deadly sabotage, to remain around while zombies attacked and even after that. I do understand also that you are a prophet of kalistrade, a man of great importance and deep knowledge of religious matters. perhaps you could share some of your invaluable insights and guide us so we might quickly bring the foul perpetrator to justice? your wise advice would no doubt also lay to rest any suspicions that others might have." Seeing if Temel would agree, if he did seem so inclined he would get what clues he had over, including the poisoned blade and the pouch of hot dust/sand in Trade Princess' coffin.

Aaqir whispered "Enemies of the Exchange are many. I am sure you are aware that Taldor & Qadira have never been on good terms since a long time ago. They are jealous of our prospering trade whilst they languish in decadence & petty squabbles, but the trade that I provided is good for all parties & the princess is much loved." Stroking his chin, he continues. "I am really quite surprised that they would dare risk such an audacious attack on a noble princess' funeral. If word gets out that Taldor is behind it, we might even risk going to war, & I am not sure if I want this to happen."
Temel seems visibly upset when he was asked to explain the presence of the Druman minted coins in the assassin's possession. "I do not know how the assailant have Druman coins & are you blaming me for this? What if the assassin have coins from Absalom? Should that put you under suspicion?"
Jakti takes this opportunity to excuse himself. "I am sorry, I have to attend to my bodyguards. They are injured in the fight against the corpses & I would like to ensure that they are not subjected to any foul corpse disease."
Metella grew quiet as you stepped in to intervene, leaving such investigations in capable hands such as yours. The poison had ran it's course & looking a little worse for wear, but she will survive. The hardy dwarven folk's metabolism is more than enough to withstand such simple venoms.
After the combined calming words of all, Temel & Metella retired both to their rooms on Aaqir's gentle promptings.
(Aaqir) "Come, we must talk," as Aaqir gestures to you. "I am extremely perplexed by the sequence of events & I would really like to get to the bottom of this. Metella & Temel are rival merchants, that much is true, but being merchants, I seriously doubt that they would attempt such extreme tactics. Metella, from my understanding is a good-natured dwarf & Temel though his outlook on certain beliefs might be discomforting, is still an honorable man. More so, if he is a true Prophet of Kalistrade. I would like you to investigate the graveyard in the east. That is where the trail of zombies come from & Umut had not returned yet & I fear for her. Please investigate & if possible, protect her whilst I tend to the guests & organise the defences against future attacks."
